CHECK THE ISP BEHIND YOUR WI-FI At home, work, a hotel or a cafe, view your current public IPv4 and the ISP identified for your internet exit. Copy public and local IP addresses with one tap. Pull to refresh after switching Wi-Fi networks, cellular connections or hotspots. EVERYDAY NETWORK CHECKS - Developers and IT admins: check a remote server from your iPhone, on site or while working away from the office. Test host response and SSH (22), HTTP (80) and HTTPS (443) port connectivity. - Business travel and temporary accommodation: look up your current Wi-Fi internet exit at a hotel, apartment or coworking space, then check the target connections you need for work. - Home broadband: check your current public IP and ISP, plus your gateway and DNS address. - Office or campus Wi-Fi: review your local IP, subnet mask and gateway while troubleshooting. - Hotel or cafe Wi-Fi: view the internet exit provider, then Ping a host to check response, latency and packet loss. - Personal hotspot or cellular: check your current public IPv4 and ISP, and compare test results across connections. - VPN use: a VPN indicator appears when a tunnel is detected. Check your public IP to understand your current internet exit. PUBLIC IP, LOCAL IP AND NETWORK SETTINGS View your public IPv4, local IPv4, subnet mask, gateway and DNS address. On Wi-Fi, your local IPv4 helps you understand your LAN configuration. See your connection type, such as Wi-Fi or cellular, and an indicator when a VPN tunnel is detected. PING: RESPONSE, LATENCY AND PACKET LOSS Enter an IPv4 address or a hostname that resolves to IPv4, or select a common host. Each run sends four ICMP requests. View individual replies, timeouts or errors, packets sent, packet loss and average latency. Check a server's response or compare Wi-Fi and cellular connections. TELNET: TEST A SPECIFIC TCP PORT Enter a host and port to check whether a TCP connection succeeds and view the connection time. Quick-select SSH (22), HTTP (80) or HTTPS (443) to help investigate connection timeouts and unreachable server ports. UNDERSTAND THE RESULTS ISP information comes from third-party IP databases and may be outdated, inaccurate or unavailable. It identifies the internet exit used by the lookup request. With a VPN, proxy, business network or shared carrier exit, the result may identify an exit provider rather than your broadband contract provider or SIM carrier. The VPN indicator reflects a detected tunnel and cannot identify every VPN or proxy. Gateway and DNS information depends on what the system makes available. Tests reflect the path from your device to the target. No Ping reply may mean ICMP is blocked. A successful TCP connection does not verify an HTTP request, TLS handshake or application operation. The Telnet feature checks TCP connectivity; it is not an interactive terminal. PRIVACY AND ACCESS No sign-up, login or account. No ads or third-party trackers. Ping and port tests originate from your device; public IP and ISP information is retrieved from external services. FeiPing has no backend server of its own and does not collect, analyze or share usage data.
