You wake with no name and no past. Just a dying fire in front of you, and the cold pressing in from every side.
Feed it. Forage in the dark, hunt what you can, craft what you need, and hold the cold off for one more night.
You won't last long. That's the point.
Everburn is a survival incremental about starting over. Every life is short, and every death teaches you something. You come back a little stronger, a little sharper, your fire catching faster than the last time. The wall that killed you becomes the ground you stand on. Death by death, you push deeper into the world.
And it's a real world. The whole game is text: words on a screen and a fire that spreads wider the longer you survive. You climb out of the woods into the valley, feel your way through the crystal caves, and reach colder, stranger places the deeper you go.
Line up your actions and watch a life run itself. Automate what you've mastered. Close the app and the time is banked, so you always come back with something to spend.
And it ends. There is a last chapter, a real one, and then you're done. The first chapters are free. One purchase opens the rest, and it's yours for good. No ads, no subscriptions, ever.
How far can one life take you, when you've got as many as it takes?
I've been having a blast with this game. Automation can be a bit clunky to work with. Also, some words are cut off in the portrait landscape and there's no way to see what they say.
Developer Response
Glad you're enjoying it! Clearer text and easier automation controls are coming very soon.
Issue with the Coast biome
AngryCat46
The game seems good so far except in the Coast biome, in which, you are unable to build anything because all the builds need multiple shells (minimum of 6) but the maximum amount of shells you can get is 5. It makes it nearly impossible to progress past that point. Please fix.
Developer Response
Sorry, that was my mistake. A fix for the shell shortage is coming very soon. Your save will carry over.
Storage full

If storage is full for items like shells or old bronze, you cannot complete other required tasks
Automation needs work
thaumabond
The top priority should be smart enough to draw from lower priority chains without compromising food. This is a pretty basic feature in the genre and it should have already been implemented.
Food now shows how much HP it restores. Tap a resource to read its full details.
Fixed cut-off text on smaller screens and with larger text settings.
Automation priorities are easier to choose.
Added repeatable shell gathering on the Coast so buildings no longer get stuck. Your existing save carries over.
Chapter, purchase and other dialogs now scroll with larger text. Improved onboarding, death-screen text and accessibility controls.
