Group your categories, see where the month actually went, and fix a balance that has drifted. • New: category groups. Put related categories in a group and see their total at a glance. A group is just a label: budgets and transactions belong to the categories inside it, so there is nothing to work out. If you had nested categories, they are now groups with the same names. • New: a full spending breakdown. Tap the SPENT figure on Budget to see this month against last month, a daily chart, and every category ranked with its share. • New: edit an account's balance. Enter what your bank actually says and Thrift adds 1 transaction for the difference, so your ledger and your balance agree. • New: the Yearly view in Insights appears as soon as 1 month has finished, covering the months of this year that are complete. It used to wait for the whole year. • Organize Categories is rebuilt: one list per type, groups as tinted bands with their categories inside, and a walkthrough on the help button. • The Budget screen now shows how much you have spent outside your budgets, and the chart accounts for it. • Restoring a backup made by an earlier version of Thrift works again. It could previously fail and leave nothing restored. • The daily spending chart now matches the Budget tab. It could show a larger budget than you had actually set. • Fixed the monthly projection, which could forecast spending several times higher than reality. • You can delete a recurring rule after it has created transactions. Past transactions stay in your history. • Wealth insights show your own currency instead of dollars. • Every category row opens its detail screen, so you can rename, recolour or delete a category without giving it a budget first. • Clearer labels on the spending chart, and it explains itself when there is nothing to plot yet. • Redesigned colour and icon pickers. • Long account and category names no longer overlap the amount in lists.

Organize your categories, plus fixes to the numbers. • New: drag a category onto another to nest it, or tap the scissors to pick one up and place it anywhere. Budget settings, then Organize categories. • Recurring rules can carry tags now, and every transaction they create gets them. • A parent category's budget now covers its subcategories, so your monthly plan and what's left to spend add up. • Rollover no longer carries forward more than a category actually had spare. • Unusual-spend alerts work again after a large purchase. A single big buy used to hide everything after it. • The interest reminder clears when you log the interest to a different account.

Fixes and a little more polish. • Savings and checking accounts can carry an interest rate. Thrift estimates what you earned each month and offers to log it. • Credit-card balances now count as debt in Net Worth, not savings. • Recurring rules no longer fire the moment you create them, and rules set to the 30th or 31st no longer skip short months. • A clearer numpad and sharper sheet titles.
