GlowKeys 2.0 is here, and it's ready for macOS 27. Private Apps Typing in Terminal, iTerm and other terminals is now hidden automatically, and so is typing in 1Password, Bitwarden and the Passwords app. Your shortcuts still show, but passwords and commands stay off your recordings. Add any app you like in Settings > Privacy. Free for everyone. Shortcuts that look right on any keyboard - Shift shortcuts now read the way macOS writes them: Shift-Command-3 shows as 3, not #. - Using Ukrainian, Greek or other non-Latin layout? Shortcuts now show the letters your viewers expect, like Command-V. - Characters typed with Option on German, French, Polish and other layouts (like @ and brackets) now appear as text instead of as shortcuts. - The Control-Option-K toggle now works on Dvorak, Colemak and AZERTY too. Easier setup - Turning GlowKeys on for the first time takes one click from the welcome screen. - The Grant Access button now opens exactly what you need, one step at a time. - The welcome window no longer reappears every time you log in. More polish - Your Pro themes, position and effects are remembered if your subscription lapses, and come back when you renew. - Holding down a key no longer fires a burst of typing sounds or inflates your stats. - Modifier keys now have their own soft click when typing sounds are on. - Launch at Login tells you when macOS needs your approval and takes you straight there. - The "Today" counter resets at midnight. - The purchase screen is clearer. If a purchase is waiting for Ask to Buy approval, you'll see that on the plan, and GlowKeys unlocks as soon as it's approved. Enjoying GlowKeys?
