• A new iPhone racing screen built around a wind dial, with the clock and wind on one line and bigger numbers. • Crop a race to the part you sailed. The full recording is kept, so you can restore it at any time. • Give your crew names on your iPhone. They stay on this phone. • Turn the replay map to suit you, and find race actions in the new "…" menu. • Apple Watch: a redesigned settings sheet, a guided tour and a demo race, an optional Water Lock when the line is set or the countdown starts, and a "Finished?" prompt when you sail back past the start. • Fixes: Home no longer gets stuck on "Loading races", cropped races show cropped on Home, and the watch keeps GPS ready before the start.

Requesting an email sign-in code now runs a quick bot check, so Lifted's sign-in emails can't be sent to people who didn't ask for them. It's invisible almost every time; occasionally a checkbox appears under the email field. Nothing else changes.

A smoother, more readable live race map. SMOOTH MOTION — Your boat now glides across the map and the map turns with you in one continuous motion, instead of stepping with each GPS fix. COURSE AND WIND ANGLE — A green line shows your course over ground, and an arc with a TWA label shows your angle to the wind. CLEARER WIND LINE — The wind direction line is now white with fading ends and light chevrons, so it stays visible over your track. VMG CARD — A new card in the bottom-left corner shows your velocity made good on a colour bar, from zero up to your fastest speed in the race. The track and course are drawn into the map itself, so they never lag behind it.

A cleaner live race map. YOUR BOAT IN THE MIDDLE — The race map now keeps your boat in the centre of the view. COMPACT HUD — The race clock, wind speed and wind direction sit in one small card in the bottom-right corner of the map, out of the way of your track. COMPASS — A new compass shows which way the map is turned. SMOOTHER START — The map now appears in one fade when it is ready, with no grey flash while it loads.

See your race on the water, as you sail it. LIVE MAP — The race screen now shows your track on a satellite map from the gun, coloured by your speed and seen from behind the boat. SATELLITE REPLAYS — The race page and the full-screen replay now draw your track on satellite imagery. The colour shades smoothly from slow to fast, and in the replay it follows what you pick: SOG, VMG or Shift. Tacks and gybes now share one marker colour. RACE CARDS — Each race on Home shows its track over the water it was sailed on, coloured by speed. A NEW LOOK — The app now wears the same navy as the Lifted website.

Say who sailed — and delete a race you didn't mean to keep. WHO SAILED — A race card on Home now asks who was aboard, and carries their initials once you have said. Boats that sail single-handed are never asked. DELETE A RACE — Remove a single race from your account, from the race page or from the menu on its card on Home. It goes for you and for everyone you shared it with, and it cannot be undone. The workout in Apple Health stays. SUPPORT IN THE APP — Settings now carries a Support page, so the answers stay current between updates.

Look around before you sign in. EXPLORE FIRST — Lifted now opens straight to Home. Open the built-in demo race and its full replay, or run DEMO on the Race tab, before you create an account. SIGN IN WHEN YOU NEED IT — Lifted asks you to sign in when you start a race on iPhone or open a shared race link. Races recorded on Apple Watch while you are signed out wait safely and appear once you sign in. PERMISSIONS IN CONTEXT — The Apple Health prompt now appears after you sign in, not at first launch.

Race links now open in Lifted. SHARE LINKS — Tap a race link in Messages, Mail or Slack and it opens in the app instead of the browser. A link to a race's replay opens straight into the replay. RACES SHARED WITH YOU — A race another sailor has shared opens in the same replay you use for your own: the coloured track, the boat and scrubber, wind, VMG and shifts. It is read-only and stays theirs — it does not join your history. SIGNED OUT — A link tapped before you sign in waits, and opens once you are in.

Your boats and crew, now in the app. BOATS — Add your boats in Settings, each with a class from the RYA class list. Your first boat becomes your default, and new races log to it automatically. Every boat has its own page: rename it, change its class, and see every race it has sailed. Archive a boat you no longer sail — its races keep their history. A TACKING ANGLE FOR EVERY BOAT — The tacking angle now lives on each boat instead of one global setting. Your default boat's angle sharpens the wind models' opening minutes, on the phone and on the watch. Every model still learns the real angle from the tacks you sail. CREW — Build your crew list in Settings. Attach crew to a race on its page — that sends their invite and shares the race with them. Remove someone at any time. RACE PAGES — Every race now shows its boat and its crew. Change the boat for one race, or add and remove crew with a tap. YOUR NAME — Set a display name in Settings. Crew and race viewers see it instead of your email address. OFFLINE — Your boats, crew, and profile stay readable with no signal.
