RackWatt is a fully offline field toolkit for data center critical facilities technicians, operations engineers, and commissioning agents. Data halls are radio hostile and access controlled, so everything works with zero connectivity.
THE METHOD OF PROCEDURE, DIGITIZED
The core of RackWatt is procedure execution. Build or import a Method of Procedure, then execute it step by step. Initial every line, capture an automatic timestamp, add notes, photos, and readings, and finish with technician, peer reviewer, and manager signatures. Export a signed PDF record ready for the operations file. Pre execution guardrails confirm authorization, risk level, the current redundancy state, and the back out plan before any critical work begins. Pause or abort with a reason, and get a hard prompt to execute the back out plan.
CALCULATORS THAT SHOW THEIR WORK
A full power and cooling suite: UPS battery runtime, UPS sizing and loading, generator fuel runtime, three phase power, rack power density, power usage effectiveness, redundancy modeling for N, N plus 1, 2N, and 2N plus 1, arc flash awareness, airflow and heat load, delta T targets, airflow by density, and refrigeration. Every result shows the formula, the source, and the intermediate steps.
EQUIPMENT TROUBLESHOOTING AND REFERENCE
Searchable, offline reference for UPS, generators and transfer, electrical distribution, air cooling, and the underserved liquid cooling edge: cold plates, manifolds, Coolant Distribution Units, rear door heat exchangers, and the hard won detail that mechanical seal life scales with discharge pressure. Guided decision trees walk you through utility loss, unit on battery or bypass, breaker trips, high inlet temperature, cooling failures, abnormal delta T, leak alarms, and alarm storm triage, with red stops on safety critical steps.
DOCUMENTS AND COMMISSIONING
Standard and Emergency Operating Procedure libraries with fast search, commissioning levels one through five, rounds and readings with out of range flagging, preventive maintenance by asset class, work orders, incident and near miss reports, lockout tagout and energized work permits, arc flash and PPE assessments, and the change and risk record. Route any document to preset recipients. Emails queue and send when connectivity returns.
