PIN-based keys are derived with PBKDF2. Your vault files, notes and contacts are not uploaded to the cloud. If you lose your PIN, nobody, including the developer, can unlock your vault. Encrypted backup and restore streams large content in chunks and validates data integrity instead of loading the entire file into memory. The free version contains ads and applies a vault upload limit. The one-time Elite Vault in-app purchase removes ads and unlocks unlimited uploads. Your vault content belongs to you and stays on your device.
