• After you mark a pass as done, “Saved to Recap” appears with options to view it or undo. • Tapping Done on the Lock Screen now shows “Saved to Recap” before the card goes away. • While Recap is empty, it explains that passes show up there once you mark them done. • Save every pass in Expired to Recap at once. • Toasts appear and dismiss more smoothly. Swipe one toward the edge to close it. • The photo grid in Add stays in sync with your library, with animations as photos come and go.

• New: Floato Plus Lifetime. Pay once, keep Plus for good, and recognition never uses credits. • Pass codes on the Dynamic Island now sit in a capsule and no longer get cut off. • When a Lock Screen card has only a QR code, its button is back in the top right, and buttons on light brand cards are easier to read. • The enlarged QR code stays in portrait. • Recap opens faster the first time, and the duration ruler magnifier is no longer clipped.

• New seat diagrams for high-speed rail tickets: see window or aisle at a glance, edit the car, seat and class, and view several seats together. They also appear on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, home list, medium widget and shared images. • On light wallpapers, train and event cards on the Lock Screen turn light. New in Settings › Live Activity: Clear in Always On. • Train and event passes pinned to the Lock Screen now flip and end on time even after a day, without lighting up the screen. • When a Lock Screen card has both a QR code and a place, the QR code and Directions sit side by side. Tap the code to enlarge it. • Shared images get a cleaner header with just the brand logo. • A new privacy notice before recognition explains that screenshots are processed by a third-party AI; recognition starts once you agree. • Passes back from Remind Later no longer show the clock badge.

• Meet Buddy: the hand-drawn mascot from our website is now the default app icon, with a one-time hello on first launch. Buddy keeps you company while passes are recognized, and the plans page got a hand-drawn makeover. • Passes fly into the Dynamic Island when pinned or recognized. Train and flight passes now show two lines there — number and destination on one side, minutes to departure on the other. • New: Traditional Chinese. Switch languages in system Settings; widgets and Live Activities follow instantly. • Widget colors adapt to their scene, including StandBy and night mode. • Common hotel chains are now recognized. • The About page offers more ways to reach us, and the app icon waves hello. • Fixes: long seat numbers wrap, the purchase button stays usable while the store page refreshes, shortcut timeouts are retryable, and more.

• New quarterly Plus plan, billed every 3 months, in Plans & credits. • Switching App Store accounts no longer drops Plus right away. It's kept for a while, and switching back renews it. • New: pass covers. Give each pass its own cover, shown consistently in the list, details, widgets, Lock Screen and Recap. Existing custom icons and vehicle photos move over automatically. • Change the cover of a finished pass too, synced through iCloud. • A new + in the list toolbar adds a pass straight from your recent photos. • New alternate icon, Buddy: the hand-drawn mascot from our website, in Settings › App Icon. • Widget improvements: long pickup codes now show as a QR code, cleaner empty states, and even spacing on the small cover widget. • The Lock Screen Live Activity shows the place when a pass has no items. • Picking photos no longer stutters. Fixed the Settings transition ignoring your preference and the last onboarding step opening Photos by mistake.

• New: Remind Later. Swipe right on a pass, pick a time, and it steps aside until then. Existing reminders carry over automatically. • Redesigned pass details: the ticket comes first, and you can change a date right where it's shown. • A refreshed home list, with a badge on each pass's icon showing its status. • Filter the Recap calendar by type to see one kind of pass at a time. • Long recognitions from Shortcuts now show progress and can be retried after a timeout. • New experimental Smart Routing (Settings › Advanced) can speed up image recognition. • Widget improvements: the small single-pickup widget gains a brand area, and the Recap calendar widget no longer cuts off the day's list. • Fixed QR codes imported from Photos not finding their pass, interrupted animations when going back from pass details, and a Lock Screen Live Activity that could remain after canceling a recognition.

• New Automation tab with clear guides for setting up Shortcuts and automations. • Recap now has a calendar: completed passes appear as stickers on their dates, with month paging, a daily list, and new calendar widgets. • Compact Dynamic Island capsules now show pickup codes and license plates, and long codes open their source QR code. • Add or replace a pass's QR code image from your photos. • Widgets now include redemption passes. • Shortcut uploads retry automatically after a connection drop. • Polished the Recap empty state, capsule sizing, and archive actions.

• Fixed an issue where Home Screen widgets could remain on “Open floato to refresh” after an update instead of showing your existing passes. • View all your activity from Recap’s Brands view, and search records by merchant or item. • Improved photo selection, choosing another photo after recognition fails, and expanding suggested places. • Prevented accidental swipe dismissal of Settings while viewing a subpage, improved landscape and split-view layouts, and corrected some localized labels in pass details.

• New on iOS 27: put pickup codes from text messages on your Lock Screen automatically. Set up one automation and the code appears as soon as the message arrives. Shortcuts can also create a pass straight from text. • The Pending Passes widget has a new look and a new large size. The medium size is now a list, so pickup codes, train tickets and movies show together, and you can mark a pass done right from the widget. • Fixed Home Screen widgets not refreshing after a pass is recognized, and recognizing another screenshot with Shortcuts no longer drops the previous one. • Tap the trash button on the Add tab to delete screenshots from Photos once they are recognized, with system confirmation. floato remembers your choice. • When you mark a ride as done, Recap now files it under its ride service in Brands. • Pass details show a map only when the place is certain; otherwise you can add a location yourself. Expand Recognition to see how a pass was read. • Turn on Streaming Recognition (Beta) in Settings → Advanced to see the type, title and code appear as they are recognized. • The Passes list and archive use a grouped style, and Recognize feels more responsive. Pickup codes share one typeface: short codes no longer widen the Dynamic Island, and long codes are no longer cut off.

• A new opening to the welcome guide: see every kind of Lock Screen card floato can show, then try it yourself. • Duration is now a ruler you swipe left and right. Flick to jump hours at a time, and swipe back to snap to the recognized value. • Train tickets put your seat first on the Lock Screen, Home Screen widgets and list, with group seats combined. Countdowns over an hour now show hours. • Live Activities in the Apple Watch Smart Stack highlight just the one thing you need right now, such as your seat, gate or pickup code. • On pass details, values you can edit now sit on a grey background. • Plus display refinements across widgets, the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen cards.

• Home Screen widgets: pickup codes, your next train, flight or movie, and this month’s ticket stubs, without opening floato. Mark a code done right from the widget. • iCloud Sync: with Plus, your completed passes, photos and avatar sync across your devices. • New ride cards: screenshot a ride-hailing or taxi order to get the plate, car model and photo. • A brand-new onboarding: push a movie ticket or a drink pickup screenshot onto your Lock Screen and walk through it yourself, from recognition and countdown to Done, and see where it ends up in Recap.

• Improved landscape layouts in preparation for iPhone Duo. • Improved scan retries: recover existing results first to reduce duplicate uploads. • Added a share menu guide to help you import screenshots from other apps. • Improved the presentation of brand search. • Refined train ticket visuals and text readability on the Always-On Display.
