Your recordings never go to AI
On supported iPhones, Hay handles transcription, mood, tags and summaries on-device. If on-device enrichment is unavailable, you can choose a private transcript-only service. Audio, video, photos and location are never sent to it.
Optional iCloud Backup can keep an encrypted copy of your journal in your private iCloud account. You can turn it off at any time.
Free and Unlimited
Your first audio or video journal is free, with transcription, search and Face ID. Continue recording with Hay Unlimited. Your saved journals remain accessible if your subscription ends, and you can export your 30 most recent entries for free. Hay Unlimited adds unlimited entries, full statistics, photo attachments, custom tags and full-library export. Monthly and annual plans are available in the app.
