Home Dash TV 1.1 is our biggest update yet. NEW: YOUR PHOTOS ON THE TV (Pro) • Turn your Apple TV into a living picture frame. Choose "Family photos" as the TV background and your Memories photos fill the screen behind the dashboard, slowly panning and zooming, with a fresh photo every 90 seconds. NEW: FAMILY ROUTINES • Chores (Pro) — add daily or weekly jobs, rotate them between family members and keep streaks going. Tick them off on iPhone; the TV shows whose turn it is. • Meal plan — plan the week's meals and send the ingredients straight to the shopping list. • Family members — add everyone once to color-code the schedule, share out chores and see who added each shopping item. SMARTER SCHEDULE & COUNTDOWNS • Repeating events: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. • Birthdays roll over to next year automatically. PRAYER TIMES • Add iqamah times for each prayer — shown on the prayer card and in the TV's prayer reminder. WORLD CLOCK–STYLE TIME ZONES • Choosing a home or second time zone now works like the iPhone's World Clock: search by city or country and see each city's current time and how far ahead or behind it is. WIDGETS & SIRI • New Home Screen widgets: Next Prayer and Shopping List. • Ask Siri for the next prayer time, add to the shopping list, or hear what's on it. IMPROVEMENTS • Night dimming: choose quiet hours and the TV dims itself overnight. • Clearer iCloud sync status in Settings. • Easier-to-tap list rows and color choices. • Stability and performance improvements.

Changes you make on iPhone now appear on your Apple TV right away. Previously the TV picked up new settings, events, and lists only when the app was restarted. • Tap anywhere on a row to select it. Choosing a video collection, a time zone, or ticking off a shopping item only responded on the text itself before. • Larger, easier targets for the event colour swatches. • Settings now tells you when iCloud sync runs into a problem instead of always reporting everything as fine. • VoiceOver now announces whether a shopping item is checked.
