Lumen 1.7 is the biggest update yet. • Quick edits: Auto plus five simple sliders, crop and auto-straighten, lossless rotate, remove background, and edit a photo's date, place and keywords. • Clean Up finds copies, weaker shots, blurry photos and screenshots in a folder, and Best Shot picks the keeper of every burst. • Places draws a folder as a trip on a map, stop by stop, with each stop's photos beside it. • Highlights picks a folder's best 20, 30 or 50 photos on a day-by-day timeline. Open them, play them or export them. • On This Day on Lumen Home shows photos from today's date in earlier years. • Four grid layouts: tiles, squares, whole photos and a sortable list, with a size slider. • Select many photos at once: drag across them like in Finder, then copy, move to a folder, duplicate, rotate, pick, rate, share or trash them from the new selection bar. • Export to a file size you choose, or to AVIF on Macs that support it. • A calmer layout: Photos, Highlights, Places and Clean Up tabs under each folder, and a simpler sidebar.

Lumen 1.2 makes big folders easier to work with: - Filter: type in the new search field (or press Cmd-F) to narrow the grid by filename as you type - Sort by Date Captured: order photos by the date they were actually taken (from EXIF), not just the file date - Batch rename (Pro): select any number of photos and rename them to a numbered sequence like "Trip 01", "Trip 02" in one step - Live refresh: photos edited or regenerated outside Lumen now update in the app instantly, including changes inside subfolders

This update fixes an issue where buying Lumen Pro could fail with an "App Store isn't reachable" error. Purchases and price loading are now reliable. If the paywall showed an error before, just try again - no reinstall needed.
