Rue & Fen - Couples Widget
Send warmth to your person
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
One tap. One person. That's the whole thing.
Rue & Fen is a tiny widget for exactly two people. You each keep a little creature on your home screen, and when you tap yours, your person's widget warms up: the scene glows, your creature walks over, and theirs gets a hug.
No chat. No streaks to protect. No pet to feed. Nothing ever guilts you. It's a friendship lamp for your home screens, a quiet, ambient way of saying "thinking of you" that takes one second and asks nothing back.
HOW IT WORKS
- Pair with your person — one invite link, two slots, no more, ever
- Pick your creature: Rue (the round one) or Fen (the tall one)
- Tap to send a touch, their widget warms for an hour, then gently fades
- Touch back right from the widget, without opening the app
- Reach for each other at the same time, and something special happens
LITTLE RITUALS, KEPT GENTLY
- The heart jar quietly counts every touch you've exchanged
- Milestones celebrate your 100th, 200th, 500th little hello
- Quiet hours: touches sent at night wait, and greet you in the morning with "they reached for you while you slept"
MADE TO BE CALM
- Works entirely from your home screen, interactive widgets in two sizes
- A soft, warm design that never shouts, in light and dark
- Scene packs (winter cabin, beach, a rainy city evening) as one-time purchases — no subscriptions, no ads, ever
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts. No names, no emails, no profiles. We couldn't read your thoughts even if we wanted to; there's nothing to read. A touch is a heartbeat, not a message. Unpair, and everything disappears.
For couples close by and far apart, for best friends, for anyone with one person who should know you're thinking of them.
One tap. One person.
