The right minimum, clearly, first.
Islamic content isn't scarce - it's overwhelming. Bidāya does the opposite. It gathers what every Muslim actually needs to know into a set of calm, sourced cards you can genuinely finish.
EVERY CARD HAS TWO LEVELS
Open a topic and you get the essentials at a glance. Tap once and the full detailed layer unfolds - context, stories, pivotal verses, and what to carry away. Nothing is buried, and nothing is forced on you.
START HERE, IF YOU ARE NEW
A guided path for new Muslims in three stages. First steps: the Shahāda, wudua, and the prayer. Growing your practice: reading the Quran, daily adhkār, and good character. Staying steady: halal and harām basics, and staying consistent.
ALL 114 SURAHS
One card per surah - the meaning of its name and why it is named so, Meccan or Medinan, verse count, its theme, how it unfolds, its stories explained, its pivotal verses, and its established virtues.
TEN TRACKS, 200 CARDS
The Qur'an - Start Here - The Prophet - Faith - Worship - Halal & Harām - Prophetic Hadith - Dhikr - Family & Society - The Hereafter.
EVERY FACT CARRIES ITS SOURCE
Virtues and rulings appear with their reference and their grade - authentic, good, or weak - so you always know exactly what you are reading.
KNOWLEDGE YOU CAN FINISH
Progress rings and bars across every track, so the essentials get completed instead of endlessly accumulating. Two Home Screen widgets keep it in view: Continue Learning, and Card of the Day.
ARABIC AND ENGLISH, DONE PROPERLY
Switch language instantly - no restart. Full right-to-left layout in Arabic, with English and transliteration hidden so the Arabic reads clean. Light, dark, and system themes.
FREE, OFFLINE, PRIVATE
No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. No ads. No account. Everything lives on your device and works with no internet at all - nothing ever leaves your phone.
Designed for both iPhone and iPad, with a sidebar layout on iPad.
Sources: the Noble Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah. The content is educational and curated on a clear method; it does not replace qualified scholars.
