MuslimElite: Quran & Prayer
Salah times, Qibla and Adhkar
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Prayer times, the complete Quran and the Qibla, worked out on your iPhone. No account, no advertising, no subscription, and no internet connection needed.
MuslimElite shows the prayer times, the complete Quran and the direction of the Kaaba. Everything is worked out on your iPhone and stays there — no account, no advertising, no connection.
Why this app exists
Many prayer apps live on advertising or on the resale of location data. An app that watches you while you pray contradicts the reason it was made. MuslimElite has no account, no sign-up, no advertising and no third-party analytics components. There is simply nothing in it that could earn from you.
Prayer times
Twelve calculation methods to choose from: Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Diyanet, Egypt, Karachi, Tehran, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore and the Moonsighting Committee. Alongside them, the school of law that sets the start of Asr, a rule for high latitudes, and an adjustment to the minute for when the mosque down the road calls it a little differently. A countdown shows how long is left until the next prayer. A quiet reminder tells you the time — never what you missed.
Quran
The complete text in Uthmani script from the Tanzil project, along with two translations from public-domain editions: English (Pickthall) and Turkish (Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır). Search finds words even when you type them without diacritics. Alongside it: bookmarks, your own notes, your reading position, an adjustable type size and navigation by surah, juz or page.
Qibla
A compass that finds the direction of the Kaaba anywhere, far from any network included.
Dhikr and calendar
• The morning and evening adhkar, each with its source
• A tasbih counter that only ever counts upward
• The 99 names
• The Hijri calendar with the dates of the year
• A dark mode for the hours before Fajr and for reading at night
No connection, no account
The app works entirely without an internet connection: on a plane, in a tunnel, in a country where you have no data plan. No registration, no login, no advertising, no third-party analytics. Your location is used on the device alone, for prayer times and the Qibla.
Everything included
No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no premium tiers. Every function is there from the first day, and future updates belong to it.
The interface speaks Arabic, English, French, German and Turkish.
Sources: Quran text from the Tanzil project (tanzil.net), translations from public-domain editions.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
New: Consistency.
Mark all five prayers and the home screen shows what grows from it — your current run, the week, the next milestone. At 7, 40, 100 and 365 days in a row, the ornament fills by one stage.
One unmarked day per week doesn’t break the run. The total never drops, and what you’ve reached stays. No leaderboard, no nagging — and a card you can share if you want to.
