Write on your slides, not just around them. - Text boxes. Drag out an area and type into it, and your words wrap to fit. Move it, resize it, or fix a typo later without redrawing anything. - Your own colors. Set up to ten swatches and reach them with keys 1 through 0. - A flourish when you click, if you want one. Three styles, off by default, with a size slider. - The laser is yours to tune: dot size, trail on or off, how long the trail lives, how thick it is, and its color. - The magnifier gained controls for zoom level, size, and shape, and the follow spotlight can now be a wide rectangle, which suits banner shaped things like a header or a total row. - A text size slider for both text tools, and an optional border on text boxes. - New first run guidance, including the one thing that catches presenters out: share your entire screen rather than a single window, or your audience will not see your marks. Plus fixes to press and hold, which sometimes failed to sustain, and polish throughout.

Work across every display. Drag the toolbar onto any screen, dock it wherever you like, and draw, spotlight, and magnify independently on each one. The display and clear pop-outs are cleaner too. Move the toolbar freely. Grab it by its handle and place it anywhere, and it settles neatly against the nearest edge. Undo with Command-Z. Take back your last mark instantly, no more system beep. Clearer menu. "Stop drawing" puts your tools away and keeps what you've drawn; "Clear screen" wipes everything. Better arrows. They point where you're heading, and you can hold Option while drawing to flip an arrow's direction. Hold Shift to keep shapes square and lines straight as you draw. Copy your whole screen to the clipboard in one step. The toolbar is easier to see when you're not hovering over it, and there's a new About window with the version and links to help. Smoother freehand drawing, and Esc now reliably closes the magnifier.

This update makes Lumi easier to learn and nicer to use. A new welcome home screen helps you get going in seconds. The tool wheel has a cleaner, clearer design with every tool in reach. Focus cut-outs now stay on screen after you switch tools, and their corners are gently rounded. Clearer guidance for turning on the optional Zoom and Magnify features.
