Point your phone at a real animal, tag it, and find out what it is. Wild Scout turns your backyard, your street, and every trail into a safari.
You spot an animal, frame it, and take the shot with your camera. Wild Scout works out the species and drops it into your field log. What you collect is sightings, the animals you have actually seen with your own eyes.
RARITY IS ABOUT PLACE
A gray squirrel in your yard is a Tuesday. A moose two states from the nearest moose is the sighting of a season. Wild Scout knows the difference because it reads the same public wildlife records biologists use. Where you are standing is what makes a catch rare, not luck.
BUILD YOUR DEX
Every animal you tag is logged with where and when you found it. Watch your field log fill in across a summer. Open any entry for the map, the date, and how it stacks up.
GEAR THAT MAKES YOU BETTER
Earn optics and spotting scopes that reach further and hold a distant animal steady. Better glass means you tag more, from further away, in worse light. You get stronger as you go.
SCOUT WITH FRIENDS
Share a good capture to the feed, trade a Scout Code to follow other scouts, and see who is topping the boards this week. Confirm the IDs you are sure about, flag the ones that look off.
RESPECTFUL BY DESIGN
No account, no sign up, no name required. Your precise location is used only to identify a catch and is never shown to anyone. Anything you share carries a coarsened location, roughly the nearest 25 kilometers, so a rare animal is never given away.
Grab your phone and go see what is out there.

Ratings & Reviews
You rang the Ranger Station and nobody picked up. Awkward. Sign-in now answers on the first ring: quicker check-in at the trailhead.
