Fjord Trail comes to your wrist. • Apple Watch app — Start, pause and finish a trip from the watch. Live stats, your route on a watch map that works offline and zooms with the Digital Crown, and a safety card with your coordinates. Trips save to Health as a workout and appear on your phone. • Share your position live — Send a link so someone at home can follow your trip in real time. Sharing ends when the trip does, and your profile picture appears on the map only if you allow it. • Live Activity and widgets — Follow a recording from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and keep your stats on the Home Screen. • Slope shading for winter — Read the steepness of the terrain before you commit, alongside new satellite and outdoor map styles. • Import GPX — Bring in a route from elsewhere and follow it in the app. • Plus the usual fixes and improvements.

Record your own trips and help improve the map: • Record your activities — Track hikes, bike rides, ski tours and paddles with background GPS, then review distance, elevation and time in My Trips. • Contribute routes (optional) — Share a recording to improve the trail lines for everyone. We trim the first and last 200 m so your start and finish stay private, and published routes appear anonymously. • Sign in with Apple or Google (optional) — Only needed to contribute routes, suggest edits or publish a trail. Everything else works signed out. • Suggest edits & report issues — Help keep trail info accurate. • Refreshed Discover, faster maps, and the usual fixes and improvements.

• Personalize your profile — edit your name, email, home city, and favorite activities. • Add a profile picture: take a new photo or choose one from your library. It saves instantly, no extra taps. • Trail photos now display proper photo credits.

• Trails Near You now shows real nearby trails on the map — tap a marker for its route, difficulty, distance, and start/end points • New map styles: Detailed, Simplified, and Terrain, with faster loading • Paddling and Ski are now their own trail categories • Paddling routes show sea-depth profiles; hikes show clearer elevation profiles with grade steepness • GPX export and profiles now cover the full there-and-back distance • Updated trail catalog: corrected difficulty ratings, recovered elevation data, better names and photos • Cleaner Discover screen and refined trail details

• Suggest an edit: help improve a trail by suggesting a better name, region, or description — or add your own photos. Everything is reviewed before it goes live. • More trails to discover across the fjords. • More accurate difficulty ratings, using official grading where available. • Faster, smoother photo browsing. • Report a photo that doesn't belong, so we can keep trails accurate. • Performance improvements and bug fixes.
