A fox walks you through a little town. Then you find your own way back.
Wayfound is a calm puzzle game about the oldest skill you own: knowing where you are. Follow the fox through pastel streets, past bakeries and clock towers, up a quiet elevator. Notice things. Then walk the route yourself — no minimap, no GPS arrow, just you and what you remember.
THERE'S NO CLOCK, AND NO WRONG WAY TO WANDER
• No timers, no fail states, no lives. Wrong turns are part of wandering — the fox always finds you.
• A rescue ladder, not a game over: hints arrive as gentle nudges, only when you want them.
• Little errands: deliver a parcel, find the bakery, learn the streets by needing them.
• At corners, the fox asks: which way now? Guess, and feel the route settle into your feet.
• Walks grow with you: first the fox leads, then you study a map and walk alone, then it's just you and a destination.
• The town grows because you walked it — a flour cart by the bakery, a fishing net by the pier — small things appear when you finish an errand, and they stay.
• Point home: a quiet compass test at the end of each walk. Watch yourself get better.
• A new town for every chapter — every street is new to you, so each walk is real navigation.
WHY WALKS WORK
Wayfound is inspired by research on spatial memory — how we build inner maps from landmarks, routes, and wrong turns, and how turn-by-turn navigation quietly erodes that skill. It's not a brain-training claim. It's just a nice walk.
