Kajet 2.0 is the largest update since the first release. READ WHAT YOU WROTE Tap the eye to see the page the Markdown describes: headings at their real size, lists, tasks, tables, links and coloured code without a marker in sight. It opens where you were reading, and tapping again puts you back where you were typing. DIAGRAMS AND MATHEMATICS A mermaid fence becomes a flowchart, a state, class or sequence diagram, or a pie chart. Write a formula between dollar signs in a sentence, or on its own lines as a block, and it is typeset as mathematics. Both are drawn by Kajet itself, so they need no connection and follow your colour scheme. Anything Kajet cannot read stays the coloured source you typed. COLOURED CODE Name a language after the opening fence and its keywords, types, strings, numbers and comments are coloured while you write and while you read. Sixteen languages. AN ARCHIVE AND A TRASH Delete Page is now Move to Trash, and asks nothing, because a page you can put back needs no confirmation. Archive keeps a page you have finished with. Each opens as a screen of its own with its own search, and the trash clears itself after 30 days. LOCK A PAGE Put a page behind Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Until you open it the list shows only its name, and search, reading mode, statistics, sharing and export all wait. EXPORT A PDF A page becomes a document on white paper, laid out exactly as reading mode shows it, with its diagrams, mathematics and pictures in place. It opens the share sheet, where Save to Files, Mail and AirDrop are all in reach. ALSO NEW - Nine colour schemes, picked separately for light and dark. Catppuccin is the new default. - A page width setting: narrow, standard, wide or full width. - Ten statistics tiles and a table of contents in the page's menu. - Copy the whole page to the clipboard. - Markdown is on from the first launch; if you have ever switched it yourself, your choice is kept. - The page fills the screen and the buttons float on it in Liquid Glass. The page list, its search field and, on iPhone, the formatting bar above the keyboard are all redrawn. FIXED - Tapping into a freshly opened page no longer leaves the text stopping short above the keyboard until the keyboard has been dismissed and raised again. - A long page no longer slides out from under your finger when you scroll back up it.
