What is your gold really worth? Gold Calculator answers in seconds: enter a weight, tap a karat, and see the melt value of your gold, silver, platinum or palladium — calculated live from the current spot price.
Whether you're selling grandma's necklace, quoting customers at a pawn shop counter, or tracking a growing stack of bullion, this is the fastest way to put an accurate number on your metal.
THE GOLD CALCULATOR THAT GETS IT RIGHT
• Live gold price and silver price with a visible "as of" timestamp you can verify
• Every karat preset: 24k, 22k, 21k, 18k, 16k, 14k, 10k, 9k — plus gold-filled (1/20 12k GF, 1/10 12k GF) and a free-form purity % for anything else
• Silver presets include .999 fine, .925 sterling, .958 Britannia and .900 junk silver (90% US coins)
• Weigh it your way: grams, troy ounces, pennyweight (dwt), kilograms or tola — switchable per calculation, not buried in settings
• See the fine metal content of every item alongside its scrap value
• Works offline with the last cached price, clearly labelled — never a blank screen
BUILT FOR PROFESSIONALS
• Payout margin: quote a % of melt (e.g. pay out 70%) with your margin built in
• Customer View: one tap flips to a full-screen offer figure — turn the phone around to your customer and nothing on screen reveals spot, melt or your margin. Exiting is Face ID protected.
• Save margin presets for the deals you quote all day: "10k buy @ 65%", "sterling @ 70%"
• Locked in a rate with your refiner? Set a manual spot price override any time
LIVE PRICES & WIDGETS
• Spot price tracker for gold, silver, platinum and palladium with daily change
• Prices in USD, GBP, AUD, CAD, EUR, CHF, JPY, INR and NZD

• Track every buy and sell: weight, purity, quantity, price paid, date and notes
• Fully editable after saving, with autosaving drafts — no lost work, ever
• Portfolio value, cost basis, profit & loss, and fine-weight totals per metal
• Syncs automatically to your private iCloud — survives a lost or new phone
• Export your entire ledger to CSV any time, free. Your data is never held hostage.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No sign-up. No ads. No third-party analytics.
