Make space for quiet time, one chapter at a time. Track your Bible reading, keep your place, and read in the Bible you already use.
Finish the Bible, one chapter at a time.
Keep your place. Come back tomorrow.
Read in your own paper Bible or Bible app.
You don't need to start over every time life gets busy. Beforeword is a Bible reading tracker that helps you build a steady daily habit, with one chapter to return to each day.
ONE CHAPTER TODAY
• Start with the book and chapter you choose.
• Read today's chapter in your own Bible, then confirm you're finished.
• Beforeword moves your plan to the next chapter.
• Pause your plan when you need a break.
MAKE TIME FOR GOD'S WORD
• Set a daily reminder and make space for quiet time.
• Choose 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes on the focus timer.
• Take the time you need; chapter lengths vary.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
• Follow overall, Old Testament, and New Testament progress.
• See your streaks and a map of all 66 books.
• Mark chapters complete or incomplete to keep your record accurate.
KEEP YOUR REFLECTIONS CLOSE
Add optional Scripture notes to your private journal after reading. Your chapter progress and reflections stay on this device only. Browse reflections in calendar or list view, or revisit the same chapter across different years.
A VERSE FOR YOUR DAY
Choose a mood for a curated verse from the public-domain World English Bible (WEB). Add Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets for your verse, or save a wallpaper image.

FIVE DAYS INCLUDED
Sign in with Apple to begin exactly five days of included access. No payment method is required. Included access does not start a subscription and you will not be charged automatically.
After included access ends, choose weekly, monthly, or yearly Beforeword Pro. Eligible monthly or yearly subscribers may receive a seven-day introductory trial. Apple displays eligibility, localized price, billing period, and renewal terms before confirmation.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase or when an eligible introductory trial ends. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription are available in Settings. Deleting your Beforeword account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
