Akora: Focus Timer, Pomodoro
Flexible study & work timer
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Akora turns focus into something you can feel — flexible, premium, and calm.
Most Pomodoro apps force one rigid 25-minute box. Akora lets you choose the rhythm that fits you and the task.
Flexible focus modes
Pomodoro (25/5)
52/17 deep work
Flowtime — counts up, you decide when to stop
Custom — set your own minutes
Overtime is optional: when the bell rings, the timer can simply keep counting up.
Breaks on your terms
Start a break whenever you like — 1, 5, 10 minutes, or a length you choose. Pausing never costs you your tree.
Name and tag your sessions
Label each session (Math, Reading, Design…) and give it a tag — Study, Work, Reading, Sport, Social, Rest, Sleep, or one of your own. "Where does your time go?" answers that with a real breakdown instead of a guess.
Premium full-screen visuals
A golden analog clock on black, a real flowing hourglass, a glowing ring, or a clean digital display — swipe to switch. Add one of 10 full-screen backgrounds: aquarium, koi pond, underwater, ocean, waterfall, forest, rainy window, fireplace, starry night, clouds.
Free, royalty-free sound
13 real ambient recordings that loop seamlessly — no audible cut when they repeat. Play ambience and music together, each with its own volume:
Rain, fireplace, birds, forest, tick-tock, sea waves, wind, crickets, a stream, cafe hum, brown / white / pink noise
Classical piano (Satie) and lo-fi — public domain / royalty-free
Grow your Akora Forest
Every finished session plants a tree — sprouts, saplings, tall trees, and fireflies at night. Stop early and nothing dies. No guilt, just growth.
My Garden
Your forest is a place, not a list. Arrange it yourself: 10 tree types, 6 ground surfaces, 6 leaf colours, 5 weather moods, and decorations — a bench, flowers, a fox, a lantern, a pond, a rock. Every focused minute earns 1 coin; spend coins in the shop and expand the garden as it fills up.
Streaks, quests and badges
A daily check-in, rotating daily quests, a monthly challenge, and 12 badges — from your first session to 100 hours and 100 trees, night owl to early bird.
My Library
Add the books you are reading, update the page you reached, and watch a lifetime page count build up. Finished books keep their own shelf.
Gentle progress
Day, week, month and year views, focus by hour of the day, streaks, a calendar you can tap, and a timeline of every session. If you work late, set the hour your day starts so a 2 a.m. session still counts as yesterday. An optional evening reminder helps you keep the streak alive.
Deep Focus
Turn it on, and leaving the app mid-session plants a pale tree instead of a full one — honest, but never punishing. Akora can also switch on Do Not Disturb while you focus and switch it off when you finish.
Optional account, optional cloud backup
Akora works fully offline and needs no account. If you want your forest and your statistics to survive a new phone, sign in with email, Google or Apple and back them up — or export a backup as plain text. You can delete your account and its backup from inside the app at any time.
24 languages, right-to-left support, and fully offline. Your data stays on your device.
No account required. Optional Premium removes ads.
Free, with ads
Akora is free to use. Your first day after installing is completely ad-free. After that, a short ad may appear when a focus session ends, when a break ends, or if you leave a session early. Ads never interrupt you while you are focusing.
Akora Premium — optional, removes all ads
