Loophole is the daily word game played in reverse: instead of guessing, YOU write the clue — and a stubborn, overconfident AI contestant (the Guesser) has to blurt out the secret word. The catch: the obvious clues are off-limits. Finding the sideways route that's still legal? That's the loophole.
ONE WORD A DAY, SAME FOR EVERYONE
A new secret word drops at midnight, worldwide. Everyone faces the same word, the same off-limits list, and the same AI. The Guesser never sees the answer — your clue meets the exact same brain as everyone else's, so the duel is always fair.
GOLF SCORING
Every word has a par. You get a word budget for the night — spend it across up to four clues. Land the word under par for the birdie, the eagle, the flex. Over par? There's always midnight.
THE GUESSER IS THE SHOW
It's literal. It's confident. It's frequently, hilariously wrong. Steering it from "candle" to the actual answer is the game — and its worst guesses make the best screenshots.
SHARE THE GRID
Every finished game becomes a tiny spoiler-free grid with your word count and the funniest wrong guess you dragged out of the AI. Your group chat will understand.
PLAY FAIR — THE REFEREE INSISTS
Clues must describe what the word MEANS. Spelling it out, "sounds like," "rhymes with," and other-language versions don't count — the referee catches them, and a rejected clue never costs you a turn.
