WATCH THE VALUES YOUR CAR KEEPS TO ITSELF Manufacturer parameters could be read, but only as a snapshot. Now you can put an eye on any of them and watch it live while you drive or rev the engine: the pressure in one particular tyre, transmission oil temperature, an EV cell's state of charge. The choice is remembered per car, and the screen shows the real refresh rate rather than pretending these read as fast as standard sensors. MODULES WITH NAMES, NOT ADDRESSES A module found outside the standard tables used to be called "Module 753", which tells nobody anything. Pistonly now works out what a module is from what it actually reports: the one returning four wheel speeds is brakes, the one returning four tyre pressures is tyre monitoring. Where a whole make agrees across its models, the name applies even to a car whose own profile is silent. Fifty-nine addresses across sixteen makes, and every one of them backed by at least three models agreeing. THE REAL WARNING LIGHTS The dashboard light screen now draws the actual telltales, the same symbols your instrument cluster uses, at a consistent size. Picking the light you are looking at is a lot easier when it looks like the light you are looking at. SIX MORE FAULT CODES P0847, P0882, P2036, P2413, P2562 and P2610 were missing outright and now read properly. FIXES • On imperial units, some readings kept their metric labels. Live data and Drive Mode could disagree on the same value. • A fault code whose name we only had in an unexpected language rendered a card with no name at all. • A Bluetooth failure could report the reason as "unknown" in the middle of a translated sentence.

PARAMETERS YOUR CAR NEVER SHOWED BEFORE Pistonly now ships diagnostic profiles for 205 models and reads what the generic OBD-II set does not expose at all: the pressure in each individual tyre, steering angle, temperatures and voltages from modules the standard mode never talks to. A Cayenne has 28 of these, a RAV4 has 215. Open Tools, pick Manufacturer parameters, and they are simply there. No packs to import, no PIDs to type. MODULES THAT USED TO STAY SILENT The way Pistonly addresses control units was rebuilt. It now learns which CAN ID a module actually answers from instead of assuming one, sends the flow control that multi-frame answers need, and understands makes where every module sits behind a single tester address rather than its own. On BMW that difference is the whole reason modules were invisible before. CODES THAT EXPLAIN THEMSELVES A code is no longer just a number. The failure type byte is decoded, so P1F35-13 reads as an open circuit and P2BAC-64 as an implausible reading — the difference between checking a wire and checking the sensor. It works on every make, including codes we have no entry for. Brand-specific meanings now ship for Ford, GM, Toyota and Lexus, Honda and Acura, Nissan and Infiniti, Hyundai and Kia, and the VW group, kept apart per brand on purpose: P1602 is a supply voltage drop on a Toyota and terminal 30 on a VAG car. The status byte tells you which of your twelve codes is the one turning on the dashboard light, and whether a fault is happening right now or was recorded last winter. THE LIGHT IS ON BUT NOTHING WAS FOUND That is not a contradiction, and the app now explains why instead of leaving you to guess: the code may live in a module the codes tab never asks, a permanent code may be holding the light, or the fault is gone and only the record stayed. Each with the right next step. WHAT IS THAT LIGHT ON MY DASHBOARD? Pick the symbol or describe it in your own words, before reading any codes and even without an adapter plugged in. You get what it means on your car, how urgent it is, and the codes worth looking for. MODULES WITH NAMES, NOT ADDRESSES A module outside our tables used to be called "Module 753", which tells a person nothing. It is now named by what it actually reports: the one sending wheel speeds is the brakes, the one sending tyre pressures is the tyre pressure system. Nothing is named on a guess, so a module we cannot place keeps its address, and for those you can ask the AI what it is. That answer is kept with the car and marked as a lead, not a fact. READ THE WHOLE CAR IN ONE TAP Everything that answers, read in one pass, with a summary of how many codes were found in how many modules and how many of them light the lamp. The result exports as a report you can hand to a mechanic. ALSO • Exhaust gas temperature, where the ECU reports it. • A code that keeps coming back is now flagged as recurring. • The freeze frame reaches the AI diagnosis, not just the code card. • Compare a drive before and after a repair, matched by driving regime. • Reconnecting is faster: the bus protocol is remembered per car. • An explained code is remembered per car: next time it opens instantly, offline, without spending a diagnosis. • Code explanations are now properly translated instead of appearing in the wrong language.

ASK ABOUT YOUR CAR, NOT JUST READ CODES After the AI gives its verdict you can keep asking: what to check first, whether it's safe to drive, what the repair usually costs. The diagnostician already knows this car's codes, its history and what it told you last time, so you don't re-explain anything. Pro. FREE REPAIRS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT Pistonly now checks the manufacturer's safety recalls for your model and year. Recall work is done free of charge by a dealer, whoever owns the car now, and most owners never find out. Campaigns the regulator marks "do not drive" or "park outside" are flagged in red. DRIVE MODE Phone in the mount, speed in huge digits, revs as a bar you can read at a glance, best acceleration times and the distance of this drive. The screen stays awake while it's open. Pro. MODULE SCANS THAT SURVIVE A DROPPED CONNECTION The scan used to save nothing until it finished: lose the link at address sixty and the whole hour was gone. Now every address is saved the moment it answers, you can stop the scan on purpose, and the next run picks up exactly where it left off instead of starting over. MODULES OTHER OWNERS ALREADY FOUND Addresses confirmed on cars of the same model and generation now show up before you scan anything. You can read codes from them right away; clearing still waits until the address is confirmed on your own car, because clearing writes to the module. ALSO • Stop and resume applies to reading and clearing codes in bulk too. • The "can I drive" verdict is passed into the AI analysis, so the banner and the AI can't contradict each other.

CAN I DRIVE IT? NOW YOU GET AN ANSWER Every fault code now comes with a straight verdict: better not to drive, drivable but fix it, or fine to drive. It works offline, the moment the code is read, with no waiting and no subscription. The code list itself is topped by the worst one it found, so you know where you stand before you read a single line. A HEALTH SCORE FOR YOUR CAR One number out of 100, in your garage, built from what Pistonly has actually seen: active faults weighted by how serious they are, servicing that is overdue, and what your last recorded drive showed. Tap it and every deduction is listed with its weight. If Pistonly has nothing to go on yet, it says so instead of inventing a score. PRE-PURCHASE CHECK (PRO) Looking at a used car? One pass collects what the seller would rather you missed: codes cleared just before the viewing (the monitors give it away), permanent codes, faults sitting in other control units, and mileage that disagrees between modules. You get a verdict and a report you can share on the spot. FIXED: MODULES YOUR CAR ACTUALLY HAS Addresses for VW/Audi/Seat/Škoda/Porsche control units were wrong, so scans came back empty and modules stayed locked. They are now the real ones. And the module scan lives on the Modules screen itself, right next to the rows it unlocks. FIXED: "LIGHT IS ON, NO CODES FOUND" When two control units answered at once, one of them could be ignored and its codes lost. Codes are now read per control unit and merged.
