There is a gift for you in the library: your notebook. • Unwrap it, choose the colour of the binding, and the notebook carries your name. Every day is a new page, and with + you add as many as you like. • What you collect while studying arrives by itself: the sentences you clip from the novels, the words you save, what you write in the stages. And with the pencil you write notes and questions right on the page. • The app now opens completely for ten days, without asking anything: you come in and the whole course is there. • If you already have your exam date you can say so, and the app remembers it: in your plan and in the reminders. • On the Path, at the top, you will find a (?): a small guide explaining what each part of the app is for. • The app always starts now, and when there is no connection it tells you instead of spinning. Locks explain how they open, and errors say what to do. • Certificates carry the date you passed the exam, and your progress also lives in your iCloud: change phone and pick up where you left off. In this version the path gains three new steps: the same ones I use in class. • Warm-up: before each stage you listen to a sentence and repeat it out loud, for about a minute. Repeating right after listening helps your pronunciation and fixes words in memory better than reading alone. • Lightning review: two short stops along each level, one minute of exercises on what you have already studied. Coming back to things a few stages later is the most effective way not to forget them. It is not a test: you cannot fail it. • More about your path: tapping the level at the top shows you what you will be able to do at the end, the grammar you will meet, and some notes for speakers of your language, at your level. • The path now positions itself on your next stage. If you are updating, your progress is safe: you continue exactly from where you were. • The app is also faster and smoother, with many small fixes. The leaderboard is fixed. If it looked empty to you, it probably wasn't: the app was asking for iCloud Drive before showing it, so learners with iCloud Drive switched off, on managed or family accounts, saw nobody at all. Now the leaderboard and friend search open for everyone. You still need an iCloud account to appear in it yourself. Plus a round of improvements: every exercise now tells you what to do, grammar chapters sit next to the lessons they explain, and the first few minutes in the app are simpler.
