Stories about you, now easier to set up. The hero has a card of their own. Add a name, a photo or a few words, and the pictures will look like them. Friends are optional. Add a brother, a best friend or the dog. Making a book takes about three minutes. Watch the pages get painted, or leave the app. It waits in your library. Your child reads first. The microphone listens on every page and turns it on the last word. Their voice never leaves your device. Speech recognition runs on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is recorded. Need help? Press Play to hear the storyteller read the page. Nothing plays by itself anymore. More drama in the narration: hushed, scary-ish moments, grumpy villains and one big cheer when the hero wins. Plus fixes and polish.

A smoother adventure for little readers and their grown-ups. • Clearer reading and listening choices. • Improved story setup when the keyboard is open. • Easier access to offer-code redemption in the book shop. • A clearer ending after the final page.
