You want to post the photo. You don't want to post the face — your kid's, a friend's, maybe your own. The usual fix is a blur or an emoji sticker, and it ruins the picture.
Peekaboo redraws the photo so the face is naturally hidden. The result looks like a moment that actually happened, not an edit.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a photo. Peekaboo finds the faces on your device.
2. Choose who to hide and pick a look:
• Sunglasses
• Cap pulled low
• Hand over face
• Turned away
• Or a simple blur/emoji cover, which is free and stays entirely on your phone
3. Peekaboo generates a few variants. Pick the one that fits.
4. Save to your library or share straight to Instagram, TikTok, or X.
PRIVACY, PLAINLY
• Face detection happens on your device.
• To create a natural edit, your chosen photo is sent over an encrypted connection to Google's Gemini image model, which generates the result. The photo is used only to produce your edit — we never store it, and it is not linked to you.
• The blur/emoji cover never leaves your phone.
