Turn handwriting into a font

Free

Write naturally on complete paper pages, then build and share a real TrueType font. MomentyFonts is a personal handwriting font maker for iPhone and iPad. Choose English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), or Japanese, write continuously on complete paper pages, save your progress, and build a real TrueType font after completing the selected writing system. Write naturally on paper pages Use one Momenty Pen to complete the characters page by page. Fixed 0.50 mm is the default. On iPad, you can also select Pressure for new strokes. Finger input and an entire stroke without valid pressure data are saved as Fixed. iPhone does not show the Pressure choice. Follow your progress Save an unfinished font pack at any time, then use page filters to find characters that are still to do, need review, or are complete. In Preview, edit sample text and adjust Size, Letter spacing, and Line height. Build becomes available after you complete the character set and save the latest changes. Build and share a TTF After Build finishes, use the system Share Sheet to save the .ttf file to Files, send it with AirDrop, or hand it to another destination that supports font files. MomentyFonts does not install a generated font automatically as a system-wide iOS or iPadOS font. Move a font pack you can keep editing Use Export Data to save an editable font pack as a .momentyfont file, then use Import Data to bring it into MomentyFonts. Import creates a new font pack and does not overwrite or automatically merge an existing one. A .momentyfont file is editable project data; a .ttf file is the font created by Build. Local first MomentyFonts requires no account and includes no advertising, analytics, or tracking. It has no Momenty-operated cloud backend. Handwriting and projects stay on your device by default. Data leaves the app only when you export or share it, or when eligible local content enters a system backup according to your device settings.
