Stagewright Companion puts the Stagewright performer panel on your iPad.
Stagewright runs on your Mac. It holds your rig: the plugin chain, the channel strips, the racks, the set list and the lyrics. Companion is the surface you keep in front of you while you play.
OPEN, TAP, PLAY
Open the app and your Mac appears by name. Tap it, give the rig password once, and you are on the panel. From then on the app connects by itself, full screen and dark, the moment you pick it up.
WHAT YOU GET ON STAGE
- The full performer front panel: channel strips, gain, balance, mutes, live meters, and the racks your rig actually has.
- The set strip and transport, so you can see and move through the set.
- The lyrics and chord reader, full screen and legible from a mic stand.
- Per device rack focus. The keys player hides the drum racks, the singer keeps the reader. Each iPad remembers its own choice and leaves the rig and everyone else's device untouched.
BUILT FOR A STAGE, NOT A DESK
- The screen never sleeps while you are connected.
- The clock, Wi-Fi and battery stay visible, so you always know where you stand before a set.
- A stray edge swipe shows the home indicator instead of dropping you out of the app mid song.
- If the Mac goes away, the app says so plainly and reconnects by itself when it comes back.
NO ACCOUNT, NOTHING TO BUY
Companion is free. There is no account, no sign in, and no in app purchase. It talks only to your own Mac, on your own network.
TRY IT WITHOUT A MAC
A full demo is built in. Tap the demo link on the first screen and you get the real panel, offline, with no Mac and no network needed.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Stagewright on a Mac, with Settings, Remote turned on. Remote requires an active Stagewright licence.
- The iPad and the Mac on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Your Mac appears by name on desktop versions that announce themselves on the network. On older versions you can still connect by typing the address Stagewright shows you, or by scanning its QR code.
- iPadOS 16 or later.
