Vocado: Learn French
Lessons, phrases & word games
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Recognize French words but hesitate when you need them in a sentence? Vocado helps you practise both with a simple routine: learn, play, review.
LEARN BEFORE YOU PLAY
Each lesson introduces useful words, patterns and examples. Then put them into practice to check what you remember.
FIND A TOPIC YOU NEED
Everyday life, travel, work and more: explore 56 topics plus foundations and grammar lessons covering numbers, prepositions, adjectives, questions, negatives and irregular verbs.
TURN WORDS INTO SENTENCES
Match translations and complete sentences. Each lesson includes at least 20 distinct words or sentences to practise across its stages. See what you have completed and what still needs work.
CHOOSE HOW YOU PLAY
Catch falling prompts or read a fixed prompt with a countdown. In Free Play, choose your topics and exercises and practise again whenever you want.
LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES
See missed words and sentences with their corrections after each game. Replay them straight away or return to the Reviews tab later.
BUILD A DAILY HABIT
Set a daily goal and follow your practice and progress. Learn French from English, or switch to learning English from French.
