New: Dig. Hop from track to track to build a set, branch off when a better idea turns up, then drag the whole chain into your DJ software.
Pick a track and Tag Wrangler shows you everything in your library that mixes with it.
Tag Wrangler is a fast library manager for DJs whose music lives in folders. Point it at your MP3, FLAC, AIFF, WAV, M4A, ALAC or OGG files and it reads the tags already in them (BPM, key, genre, artwork) into one table that filters instantly, even at tens of thousands of tracks. Your files never move, get renamed or get re-encoded.
FIND WHAT MIXES
• Mixes with: select a track to see every track with a compatible key, a BPM inside your range and a matching genre. Tap the genre rule to widen it from same genre, to the same family, to any genre at all. That last one is where the blends you'd never have tried turn up.
• Camelot key wheel: tap a key to filter by it, or tap several. Harmonic matches adds the keys one step either side plus the relative major or minor.
• Genre families: your genres sorted into groups like House, Techno and Bass & Breaks. Rename the groups and move genres around to match how you dig.
DIG A SET
• Hop from a match and it becomes the new reference, with its own matches lined up. Keep hopping and you've got a chain.
• Branch off any earlier track to try another direction. Every line is kept, and you can name them, hide them or see them all on one map.
• Drag the finished chain into your DJ software, export it as an M3U8 playlist, or save it to the sidebar.
BUILD CRATES FAST
• Stack rules on BPM, key, genre, year, date added and more, with match all or match any.
• Save any rule stack as a preset and come back to it in one click.
• Select everything that matched and drag it straight into Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, Finder or any app that accepts files.
TIDY YOUR TAGS
• Edit a tag inline, or select hundreds of tracks and change artist, album, genre, BPM, key, year, grouping or rating in one pass.
• Find and replace a value across the whole library or just what's filtered.
• Nothing is written to your files until you save, and a save can be undone.
YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR MAC
• Keys in any notation are shown as Camelot (1A–12B), colour-coded to match the wheel.
• Keep separate tabs for your main library, a gig crate or vinyl rips.
• Preview any track with one click.
• Optional preset sync through iCloud Drive, Dropbox or Google Drive. Your audio never leaves your Mac.
• No account, no subscription, no data collected.
Tag Wrangler reads the BPM and key your DJ software or analysis tool already wrote; it doesn't analyse audio itself. Tracks without those tags are easy to find with the No key filter.
Requires macOS 12 Monterey or later.
Ratings & Reviews

Dig: build a set one hop at a time.
Pick a track and choose Mixes with selected. Every match gets a Hop button. Hop, and that track becomes the new reference, with its own matches lined up behind it. Keep going and you've got a chain.
Change your mind halfway? Go back to any earlier track and hop somewhere else. That starts a new line next to the first, and the old line stays exactly where you left it.
IN THE DIG PANEL
• Follow one line as a set list, with a note on every blend (key +1 · +3 BPM · House → Tech House). Step through it with Back and Next, or the arrow keys.
• See the whole tree, or open the Full map to lay out every line at once.
• Name your lines. Hide the ones you've gone off; hiding never deletes anything.
• Drag the chain straight into your DJ software, export it as an M3U8 playlist, or save it to the sidebar for later.
• Quit mid-dig and it's waiting for you next time.
The key wheel traces your path through the keys, and dots in the genre list show which genres the chain passes through. You can also change the BPM range right from the BPM chip.
ALSO NEW IN 1.1
• Camelot key wheel in the sidebar. Tap a key to filter by it, or tap several. Harmonic matches adds the keys one step either side plus the relative major or minor.
• Grouped genres. Your genres are sorted into families like House, Techno and Bass & Breaks. Search them or tick a whole family, and rename or rearrange the families in Settings.
• Mixes with. Select a track to see everything with a compatible key, a close BPM and a matching genre. Tap the genre rule to go from same genre, to same family, to any genre at all.
• Key badges in the track list now use the wheel's colours.
