See the morning drawings of people all over the world The Social tab has a new "Everyone" page. Drawings made this morning, somewhere in the world, one after another. Leave a heart, a short comment, an emoji - and if someone seems like your kind of person, ask to be friends. Your name stays yours On "Everyone" you appear under a name made up for you - "Full Moon Dolphin", say. Not your real name, and not the name your friends see. You can pick your own if you would rather. You choose who sees a drawing When you post, choose "everyone", "all friends" or "close friends only" - and change your mind later, any time. Drawings you made to one of the app's own prompts have moved to "everyone". The app tells you once when you open it, and you can move any of them back right there, or later from Settings > "Drawings shared with everyone". Your drawing, ready to send as a single card When you finish the morning's drawing, it becomes a card. The time you woke up, how long you drew, how many strokes, how many days in a row - all of it goes onto the card. Put a day's drawings together three to a row, or pick up to nine of your favourites. The Alarms tab can send one at any time. Your week, as a photo or as a film "This week's drawings" has been rebuilt. A short film in which each print is laid down on paper, one at a time - or a single photo. Send whichever you like. Past weeks are there too: tap a drawing to look at it. Songs from Files can be alarm sounds A song sitting in your Files app can now wake you up. We check that it can actually play when you add it, so it will not fail you in the morning. The timer can pause Stop it, then carry on from where you were. It works from the Lock Screen too. Alarms sort themselves by time A new alarm slides into its place in the order. "Sort by time" puts everything back in order whenever you want. Easier to invite a friend When you share, both the app link and your friend invitation now travel together - and the link itself is a third of the length it was. Fixed - The alarm could be silent on the Lock Screen. Fixed. - Touching the "this week" card started sending a film. Now only the button does. - An invitation link showed the drawing inside a doubled frame. Fixed. - The app name on a shared image was hard to read. Fixed.

The Alarms tab is now a proper clock A timer and a stopwatch have joined it. For the timer, you build your own list of the lengths you actually use, up to 23 hours 59 minutes. Reorder them, delete them, keep them. The stopwatch measures to a hundredth of a second and takes laps. Both can be controlled from the Lock Screen, so you never have to open the app. Paper and crayons The drawing screen has been redrawn. You now pick a colour the way you would pick a crayon out of the box. A lot more alarm sounds Fifteen new ones - a soft bell, small birds, water, piano - all made from scratch for this app. You can also use your own recorded voice, or a song from your Apple Music library. Pick several songs, and start from the chorus if you like. On a morning with no time, don't draw Each alarm can now be set to skip the drawing, so that day it works as an ordinary alarm clock. The rain radar works worldwide It used to be Japan only. Now you can see the rain wherever you are. Precipitation forecasts now come from official meteorological services, and the hourly forecast reaches 48 hours ahead. Today's awards, inside your group Best drawing, oddest drawing, fastest to finish, longest waking streak, perfect attendance. Someone is celebrated every morning. Fixed and improved - The alarm volume slider now actually works (turning it down used to stay loud) - Alarm settings are now grouped into "how it stops" and "how it rings" - Press and hold a card on the Home or Social tab to reorder or hide it - A group owner can now hand the group to someone else and leave - Profiles gained a short note (10 characters) and an optional gender you can hide - All 15 in-app languages have been reviewed - Fixed crashes after a timer finished and when resetting the stopwatch

Your alarm can talk now. While the alarm rings, it can read out the date, the day of the week, and today's weather - including "rain is forecast, take an umbrella." You turn it on per alarm; it starts out off. A word about what you're drawing While you draw, the app quietly guesses what it might be. Everything runs on your device, so your drawing is never sent anywhere. Weather at a glance The home screen and the just-drew screen now show the next 24 hours of weather. Tap it for a 10-day forecast and, in Japan, a rain radar map. You can also pick a region by hand - while one is picked, location is not used at all. Today's vote, inside your group Funniest drawing. Best drawing. A different question each day, one vote per person, for someone other than yourself. The winner gets a crown. Also in this release - Many more looks in the avatar maker (eye colour, hair, glasses, accessories) - The eraser now rubs out only where you touch, not the whole stroke - A wider range for the alarm volume - The Alarms tab now shows every alarm that is switched on - Drawings opened from a notification can be liked and commented on

A big rebuild, inside and out. ■ A new icon A bell drawn on an instant photo, ringing. Now you can tell at a glance that this is an alarm you draw. ■ 15 languages Not just the interface — the prompts are written for each language too. A prompt sent by a friend overseas shows up in your language. Anything not in the dictionary is filled in by on-device translation (nothing is sent over the network). ■ Groups Everyone draws the same prompt, and medals go to whoever woke up first. You can see at a glance who's up and who's still asleep. ■ Send prompts to friends "Draw this tomorrow." Drawings made from a prompt someone sent you glow like fire. ■ Lock Screen While the alarm is ringing it now shows on the Lock Screen, so you can tell it's going off without opening the app. ■ Also ・Lines now have a crayon texture (you can switch back in Settings) ・Rebuilt the card printing and the stats screen (week/month/year/all time) ・Rebuilt the calendar ・Fixed group photo icons not being removable ・Made posted images lighter — less data, less waiting ・Fixed sluggish text input We'd love to hear what you think, and to know about any bugs.
