Autumn is here — and a lot of polish: • New Home Screen widget: see your streak and today's bloom without opening the app. • Larger text: every screen now reads cleanly at the biggest accessibility text sizes. • Share your time-lapse: the Atlas can now turn everywhere you've walked into a video of your city blooming. • Earn titles from your badges and wear one under your name, and add a new aura to your explorer from the Boutique. • Opt-in reminders: one gentle nudge before your streak ends, only on days you haven't walked. • Walks you can trust: a walk no longer stops recording after a GPS gap, and if Precise Location is off, PathBloom asks for it instead of quietly recording nothing. • Easier on your battery: GPS eases off while you're paused, riding, or standing still, and wakes the moment you walk on. Routes in a new area are planned faster, too. • "Save & end" on an interrupted walk now keeps your streak, quests and badges, and a walk that crosses midnight counts for the day it started. • Leaderboards rank places explored: finishing a walk without walking no longer earns points, and quiet cities open on the Global board. • No tracking: PathBloom no longer asks to track you, and ads are never personalized. • Plus safer iCloud restores, southern-hemisphere seasons for souvenirs, and many small fixes.

Two fixes: • Updating from an earlier version could leave a second, frozen copy of you on the leaderboard. Everyone now has one place on the board, and the duplicates have been cleared. • A permission request that could be missed after your first walk is now offered again next time, instead of being skipped for good.

Fixes and polish throughout: • Sound no longer stops for good after a phone call or another app takes over the audio. • Setup can no longer be skipped past the "welcome back" iCloud offer, so a returning explorer's world is never started over accidentally. • A mystery spot you reveal now always makes it into today's routes. • Fixed a rare case where the same cosmetic could be paid for twice—once in petals, once with money. • Quicker route planning in neighborhoods you have already explored.

Your world, played back The Bloom Atlas can now travel through time. Drag the scrubber, or press play, and watch every street you have ever walked fill in from your first day to today. A camp of your own Four voxel keepsakes now stand on your home stage: a cartographer's coat, a firefly lantern, a trailblazer's pack and a sakura scarf. The lantern wakes up after dark. Petals come a little faster Your first discovery of each day is worth a bonus, and one cosmetic is featured every week at a lower petal price. Everything in the Boutique can still be earned by walking — nothing here has ever touched your progress, and nothing ever will. The first bloom of a walk The map now holds for a moment on the first patch of ground you bloom, then hands itself back and keeps following you. Also in this update • The Collection says how many places are still hidden near you, and how far the closest one is on foot • Places group by neighbourhood instead of by city • Routes retry when map directions are busy, and say so plainly when a route could not be found • You can change your display name • Your leaderboard place now survives a reinstall or a new phone • Distance no longer counts toward your leaderboard score — exploring new ground does • Clearer layout and better support for larger text throughout
