The free plan is now based on active prayer requests: keep up to 15 active requests free, while Answered and Set Aside requests do not count. Existing users keep the allowance they already had, and existing prayers are never locked. Unlimited remains a one-time purchase, never a subscription.

Fixed: if you'd already unlocked unlimited entries, adding one in the first moments after opening the app could show the purchase screen again. It now waits for the App Store to confirm what you own before asking. The same moment could also be used to add one entry past the free limit. That's closed too.

Not every day starts at the same hour. Reminders can now be set per day of the week — an early start Monday to Friday, a later one at the weekend, or no reminder at all on a day you'd rather not have one. Also fixed: a slow App Store lookup could leave a paying customer locked out of a purchase they'd already made.

Prayer Journal is now a native iPad app, laid out for every orientation instead of running in iPhone compatibility mode. Reminders are more reliable. A scheduling failure used to be discarded silently, which meant a reminder could simply never arrive with nothing to show why. Failures are now caught and logged. New: Prayer Journal Unlimited, an optional one-time purchase. The free version keeps 50 prayer requests. Nothing you have already written is ever locked - every request stays readable, editable, exportable, and markable answered. And if you installed Prayer Journal before this update, you keep unlimited requests for free, for good.
