From November 1, a Christmas Radio shelf on Listen brings holiday stations from your country and around the world. Finding a country is easier: search now ignores accents and recognizes former and short country names. Small fixes and polish.

Worldwave 1.2 brings a new welcome and local-first genres. • A brand-new first launch: station tiles sweep across the screen and follow the tilt of your iPhone, then you pick your country and the genres you love. • Genres now start close to home. Tap Jazz, Rock or any genre to see stations from the country you've chosen, with its flag above the list. If that country has none, Worldwave widens the search to the whole world.

Worldwave now speaks 12 languages. • English, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), German, French, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Italian, Dutch, Korean and Turkish. • Pick yours in Settings → Language. It switches instantly, no restart needed. • On first launch, Worldwave opens in your iPhone's language whenever it is one of the twelve. • Also included: the accessibility improvements from the previous update - text scales to the largest sizes, Reduce Motion is respected, and VoiceOver reads every control correctly.

Accessibility improvements throughout the app. • Text now scales all the way to the largest accessibility sizes. Station names wrap instead of truncating, and rows, tiles and cards grow to fit. • Reduce Motion is respected: sliding transitions and spring effects become a simple fade, and the map cuts to a location instead of flying to it. • Selected sort options now carry a checkmark, so selection no longer depends on color alone. • VoiceOver reads the volume slider, station rows and the mini player correctly, with hints on controls whose result was not obvious.
