Not a filter applied after the fact. The preview is already black and white, and what you see is exactly what lands in the file. Shoot video that looks like an old black-and-white film. Anyone can. An ordinary street corner, framed in nothing but black and white, starts to look like a scene from a movie. There is nothing complicated to set up: just watch the screen while you shoot and pick the look you like. Become the director of your own black-and-white film, in an instant. ■ Filters - Natural - a straightforward black and white - Dramatic - deep shadows and strong contrast (PRO) - Soft - lifted blacks and gentle gradation (PRO) - Bright - lifted overall for an airy gradation (PRO) ■ Texture controls (PRO) - Grain - add the particles of film - Vignette - darken the corners and pull the eye to the center ■ Frame rate - 30fps - smooth and standard - 24fps - the rhythm of cinema (PRO) - 18fps - the stutter of an old projector (PRO) ■ More - Shoot in portrait or landscape. Turn the phone and the controls stay where your thumb is - Switch to the front camera (PRO) - Save what you shot to your photo library ■ About PRO PRO is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription. The free version records up to 30 seconds at a time and keeps the Standard look available with no limit on how often you shoot. ■ Privacy Everything you record stays on your device. Your video and audio are never sent anywhere. Only anonymous usage data, such as how often the app is opened and what kind of device it runs on, is collected to help improve the app.
