A phrase a day on your Home Screen Add the Tono Translate widget and each day it shows one phrase you looked up, with the meaning hidden until you tap, so you try to remember it first. Lock Screen and Control Center buttons open straight to Translate or the camera. Share a photo to translate Share a screenshot or a photo from any app to Tono Translate and it's read and translated, the same as a photo you take in the app, and kept in History. Practice that starts with the words Sessions now open with a matching round made from your own phrases, and you practice saying a new phrase from memory before learning its level of formality. Practice now counts the phrases you've practiced instead of points, and the weekly lesson ends with a proper finish. Plus small fixes throughout.

Practice keeps score Every card earns points, each answer gets a word back, and a session ends on a results card: how many you got, your points, your streak, and the week at a glance. Misses are listed so you can practice them again right away. The Practice tab shows your streak and this week's points. The translation, drawn on the photo Photograph a menu, a sign or a notice, and the translation is drawn onto the photo where the text is. Tap any line for the original and its translation, copy it or listen, and share the translated photo. Photos in History open full screen — pinch to zoom, double-tap to zoom in. Word matching is a board The weekly lesson's matching exercise is a proper board: words on one side, meanings on the other, and a Listen and match round where you match by ear. Practice on your terms Nothing plays until you press Play. Can't listen right now? A listening card becomes a reading one. Can't speak? Type your answer instead.
