What's New in 1.3 • A fresh new look: the Home screen and launch screen have a new topo-map design with bold new type, a cleaner layout, and quick totals for your maps, markers, and offline downloads. • Easier-to-scan map list: each map shows its area, when you last updated it, and exactly what's on it, like "12 markers · 3 lines · 2 shapes." • Better printable maps: the legend now lists everything on your map, grouped by type. Turn on "Number every point" to match each pin to its legend row, put the legend on its own page, and save printed maps straight to Photos. • Cleaner printouts: labels avoid overlapping, crowded pins spread apart, and your app icon appears in the title block. • Clearer scale bar: distances read like "1,000 ft" or "½ mi" instead of odd decimals, on screen and in print. • Easier-to-read pins: numbers and icons on light-colored pins (yellow, sand, white) are now dark, so they stand out. • More reliable offline maps: TerraMarker remembers which map style you downloaded and tells you when switching styles means downloading again. • Swipe-to-delete is now red, so it's easy to tell apart from Share. • Plus small fixes and polish throughout.

What's New in TerraMarker: • Point Types – Group your points as Gates, Trees, Ponds, River Crossings, Stands, Cameras, Feeders, and more. Filter the map by type to show or hide whole groups at once. • Smart Suggestions – Start typing a point's name, like "North Gate," and TerraMarker suggests the matching type and icons. One tap sets both. • Recently Used Styles – Your latest icon, color, and type combos appear at the top when adding points and lines, so new ones match your earlier ones in one tap. • Edit Points and Lines on the Map – Long-press a point to move it without deleting and re-adding it. Long-press a line, track, or shape to move, delete, or add points along it, with undo. • Full-Screen Map – Tap an empty spot on the map to hide all the controls and see just your map. Tap again to bring them back. • Better Resizing – When changing your map area, the corners stay pinned to the ground as you move and zoom, and your points and lines show underneath. • More Print Options – Choose a vertical or horizontal page, put the legend on any side, and save as a PDF or a photo. A live preview shows the page before you export. • More Precise Placement – Points and lines now drop exactly at the center of the crosshair. • Icons First – New points start with an icon instead of a number. • Better Battery and Privacy – TerraMarker now uses your location only while the app is open, except while you're recording a path.

What's New in TerraMarker 1.1 Cleaner maps • Markers now shrink as you zoom out and turn into small dots when you're far away, so nearby pins no longer pile on top of each other. • Marker labels move around to avoid overlapping, and hide when there isn't room. • Fences and other dashed lines now show dashed on the map, not just on printed maps. Never lose a track • Tracks you record are saved as you go. If the app closes mid-recording, you can resume, save, or discard the track the next time you open it. • Tracks always save to the map you started them on, even if you open a different map before stopping. • A recording banner on the home screen shows your track's progress and takes you straight back to it. Better offline maps • Choose how much detail to download: Standard, High, or Max, with an estimated download size for each. • Sharper offline imagery when you're zoomed in close. • The "Offline" badge now only appears when a map is fully downloaded. Location improvements • "Point at My Location" now waits for a GPS fix instead of doing nothing, and lets you know if it can't get one. • If location access is turned off, TerraMarker tells you and takes you to Settings to fix it. Easier editing • Enter marker coordinates in decimal or degrees/minutes/seconds, whichever format you use, with a warning if something's mistyped. • You'll be asked before discarding a line or shape you're drawing. • Swiping away a new marker's editor now removes the marker, just like Cancel. • Setting a map area always captures exactly the area inside the box. Also new • Smoother panning on maps with lots of markers and long tracks. • The app now lets you know when an update is available. • See your app version and credits at the bottom of Settings. • Refreshed app logo throughout the app. • Fixed place search when a search contains certain symbols.
