It's 9:40pm. You want to watch something — but you also want to be asleep by 10:30.
WindDown solves the actual problem: not just what to watch, but whether you have time to watch it. Tell it when you wake up, and it works backward to your bedtime, then only shows you things that finish before it. Every recommendation comes with the exact time to press play.
WHAT IT DOES
• Real runtimes, real math. A 1h55m movie at 9:40pm means an 11:35pm finish. WindDown does that arithmetic for you and tells you the latest you can start.
• Knows where you can actually watch. Filter by the services you pay for. If something's only available to rent, it says so instead of pretending.
• Talk to it. Describe your mood — "something funny but not stupid", "military movies on Prime" — and the companion finds it, explains why, and locks in your start time.
• Tracks your shows. Pick a series and it remembers which episode you're on, plans however many episodes you want tonight, and gives you a start time for the whole block.
• Tells you how it went. A morning check-in on last night's pick, so you can see whether the late episode was worth it.

PRIVACY
No account, no email, no sign-up. Your ratings, watch history, and schedule are stored on your phone. WindDown does not read health or fitness data of any kind.
The companion is an AI chat powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. If you turn it on, your messages and a short summary of your taste are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. WindDown asks permission first, shows you exactly what gets sent, and the rest of the app works whether you say yes or no. You can change your mind any time in Settings. Nothing is sold, and there are no ads or trackers.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
