To receive notifications, contacts need the app installed, access to your shared timer and notifications enabled. Alerts and updates depend on connectivity, permissions and device conditions. Agree on what to do after a missed check-in and test your setup together.
A missed check-in does not necessarily mean an emergency. The app is not an emergency response or professional monitoring service and does not automatically call for help. Contact local emergency services directly when urgent help is needed.
