Send a friend a link made from your latest take and they get a head-to-head against it: pause space and volume control every time, and pace as a third round when both takes measured it the same way. Each round compares one number the app already shows you. The code carries those scores, the target you picked, and the date. No name, no account, no audio, no transcript. Send it as a link or as a card. There is no server, so it works like a text message: once sent, it cannot be taken back. Pause space now has its own row on the audit dashboard.

Onboarding now asks how you think you sound before you record: your pace, your pauses, how your sentences land, whether your volume holds, how deep your voice is. After you read the prompt, the audit tells you which of your answers the recording agreed with. Where You Land is now part of the result. Your measured pitch is placed against published read-speech norms whenever the take tracks reliably enough to place it. Voice Age is gone. It started from the age you typed in, so it mostly handed that number back to you. Apple's tracking question now appears before you record anything. The recording screen asks for the microphone and nothing else. The practice recognises more of the ways people actually hesitate, so its live count reflects more of them.

VoiceMog now supports iOS 17, so it runs on more iPhones. App-usage sharing is on by default and explained in Settings, where you can turn it off at any time. Crash and hang reporting is now built in, using Apple's own MetricKit. It reports counts and a coarse cause only, never your voice, transcripts, or results.

Clearer tracking controls in Settings. If your iPhone has app tracking requests turned off for every app, VoiceMog now explains where that system setting lives instead of sending you to a page that cannot change it. The tracking options are also easier to see and tap.

Privacy choices now appear after your first on-device audit result. You can keep every feature without sharing, manage Apple tracking from Settings, and send neutral feedback whenever you choose. This update also improves advertising attribution and subscription support while keeping recordings, transcripts, age, voice measurements, scores, and coaching results on your iPhone.
