Read the classics of the Christian tradition and put them to work. Alethea Forge pairs a library of classical theological texts with a research assistant that answers only from the books themselves — every claim cited to the passage it came from. LIBRARY AND READER • A curated bookstore of classical works: Augustine, Calvin, Watson, Bavinck, and more • A fast, comfortable reader built for long-form study • Open any citation directly at the exact passage in the book THEOLOGICAL JOURNALS • Openly licensed academic journals (such as Themelios and HTS Teologiese Studies), rendered as their original typeset pages • Highlight, add notes, search, and listen with read-aloud — the same study tools as books RESEARCH • Ask questions across the whole corpus, or scope research to a single book • Answers are grounded in the texts and cited line by line • Counsel mode weighs pastoral questions against multiple voices from the tradition • X-ray a book: its central argument, chapter-by-chapter summaries, key figures and themes, and its most quotable passages STUDY PROJECTS • Turn research into saved studies: multi-week study guides with Scripture readings and discussion questions • Write and keep study notes with a clean typeset reading view • Export any document to PDF or Word and share it FORGE PREMIUM Reading is free. New accounts include a 14-day research trial (3 questions per day). Forge Premium is an auto-renewing subscription ($8.99/month in the US; pricing varies by region) that unlocks unlimited research with page-level citations, the full reader AI toolkit, and citation exports. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Ratings & Reviews

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

Opening books from your research is now rock-solid: - "Open in book" from answers, citations, and highlights now waits for the exact passage to be located before jumping in - no more landing in the wrong place or nothing happening - Quoted passages with ellipses (...) are now found correctly inside the book - If a passage can't be pinpointed, the book still opens gracefully instead of failing silently Also in this update: - Research answers redesigned with book-page typography and elegant footnote-style citations - Illustrated book covers re-rendered edge-to-edge and properly centered - Reading time is now recorded accurately even if the app closes or your phone locks mid-session - A "Convening the traditions..." note appears while a roundtable answer is assembled - Polished spacing around the question box
