PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS
SandClean runs in Apple's App Sandbox. On first launch it asks you to grant access to your Home folder so it can scan — you choose the folder, and access is stored as a security-scoped bookmark. Nothing is uploaded, no analytics, no account. AI analysis only sends data when you explicitly ask for it, and only the file paths and sizes needed for the question.
Deletions move to the Trash where macOS allows it, so a mistake is always
recoverable.
