Deleting a collage now asks for confirmation first.

• The first eight Artistic templates now support selecting multiple photos • If a collage can’t be opened, you can delete the damaged file from the alert

• One-Tap Artistic collage adds four patterned templates: Fish Scale, Diamond, Hexagon, and Scallop.

• New in One-Tap Collage: Artistic layouts.

• Tapping Share while in doodle, text, border, or one-tap layout now commits the current edits, exits that mode, then presents the export sheet (the doodle tool overlay no longer stays on screen) • If some collages fail to load, the project list shows a warning instead of silently dropping them • The share extension opens the host app through the public URL/handoff path (no private UIApplication APIs) • Added Simplified/Traditional Chinese for recent strings; VoiceOver labels for text-size controls and pending-tray thumbnails • App and Share Extension marketing versions are aligned at 1.2.7 • The editor uses a custom top bar, so Share stays on screen in portrait.

• Text Text is now its own mode, with a scrollable bar for New Text, Edit Text, Color, Font, Stroke, Shadow, Background, Bold/Italic, Align, and Size. • Tray delete Deleting a tray photo now removes the right item, selection no longer jumps, and the delete can be undone. • Project name Long names no longer hide Export. The project name is shown after you open a project. • Undo Undoing a text style change no longer closes the current tool panel.

• More reliable export: Save stays visible, you can still export if preview fails, and large collages are less likely to fail • Saving to Photos asks for permission; if it was denied, you can open Settings from the prompt • One-Tap Collage Auto + Default: 5 photos now layout as 3+2 instead of a single row or column

Smoother canvas zoom • Fixed white edges that could appear when pinch-zooming your collage. Photos now render on a unified canvas layer for cleaner scaling. Export options • Choose JPEG or PNG when saving. JPEG is the default for smaller files; use PNG when you need lossless quality.

export & import • Export no longer freezes the UI: rendering runs in the background with a progress bar and Cancel • Import (from Photos or Share) uses the same progress style, centered on screen, with cancel support • Share import: choose new or existing project on a full-screen destination page • Share up to 50 photos per share (was 20) • Transparent import report: see selected vs. ready counts, skipped-over-limit items, read failures, and failure previews • Share Extension shows “Reading photo X of Y…” while preparing photos Performance • Smoother canvas on large collages: only visible tiles load and render • Faster project list thumbnails (lightweight preview, background refresh with debounce) • Higher-quality stored photos (JPEG 0.92) • Faster one-tap layout and border adjustments on big projects Editing & design • Text default size 36 pt, max 192 pt; corner tools scale with text size • Border sliders stay in sync after Undo/Redo • Refreshed app icon with softer, more rounded block corners Localization & accessibility • Share Extension and import flow fully localized (English, Simplified & Traditional Chinese) • Fixed string interpolation so counts and labels display correctly in Chinese • Friendlier error messages; Redo and Share buttons now have VoiceOver labels Stability • Fixed Share-from-Photos handoff (blank screen, failed jump to app) • Fixed runtime warnings and Swift concurrency issues in zoom, image cache, and export progress

More flexible export sizes • New Custom option: set width × height in pixels, with linked aspect ratio • Cleaner size chips: centered W × H, sized to your digits, more rounded • Choosing Custom no longer auto-opens the keyboard; when values exceed limits, fields snap to the actual capped size after you finish editing Clearer quality tiers • Standard ~16 MP and High ~24 MP, with stronger short-edge clarity • Export details show pixels and estimated size, plus a “Limited” note when caps apply Editing polish • Smoother, more reliable live frame-style previews • Clearer onboarding gesture demos to help you get started faster Thanks for using Freeform Collage—feedback is always welcome.

• Multi-language UI that follows your system language • Export with “Open with…” to share via Messages, Files, and more • Edit a single photo: free crop, rotate, and flip • Canvas stays steady when selecting—no more layout jump • Replace a tile in place with a photo from the staging tray • New Border mode: spacing, outer border, corners, and color for the whole collage • Text tools: add text at the center of your view, with a clear “double-tap to edit” placeholder • Text corner controls: delete, edit, duplicate, and drag to rotate • Sharper photos when you zoom the canvas • Border mode auto-fits the collage so controls don’t hide your work • Swap photos with a long-press only after selecting—fewer accidental swaps • Your chosen text fonts stay correct after relaunching the app • Added One-Tap Collage — arrange photos in one tap • Smoother frame styling • Clearer exports • More stable multi-photo editing • Help & support
