Art Pillars is a quiet room for the world's paintings.
Every hour a new masterpiece takes over the screen. Full bleed, uncropped, with the story behind it. No feed to scroll forever, no noise. Just one painting at a time, and the artist who made it.
POINT YOUR CAMERA AT A PAINTING
Standing in front of a canvas and don't know what it is? Scan it. Art Pillars matches the photo against the collection and returns the work, its artist, and the details. When the light or the angle isn't perfect, you also get the other close matches.
A COLLECTION THAT UNFOLDS
Browse artists and their complete bodies of work in a full screen gallery. Open any painting for its description, its context, and a set of visually similar works that pull you one step further into the collection.
FEATURED AND RECOMMENDED
A rotating featured collection puts one artist in the spotlight. Recommendations grow from the works you save, inspired by a painting you starred rather than by an algorithm guessing at you.
SEARCH THAT KNOWS WHAT YOU MEAN
Find an artist by name or a painting by title. Results split cleanly between people and works.
SAVE IT, KEEP IT
Star any artist or artwork and it stays on your device, available offline. Clear the cache whenever you like. Your favourites always survive.
ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
The Masterpiece widget carries the painting of the hour onto your home screen and refreshes on its own. Small, medium, or large.
DESIGNED LIKE A GALLERY
Deep charcoal walls, gold accents, and typography set in Playfair Display. Nothing competes with the art.
