Spindl 2.0 is the biggest update since launch. A new look, everywhere. Every screen now takes its colour from the record you're looking at. The app feels like your collection instead of a database. Light mode. The whole app, redrawn for daylight. Spin, reimagined. Your records arrive from the edge of the screen as a wheel of vinyl and slow to a stop on tonight's pick. The record page, rebuilt. Before the price, the question that actually matters: can this pressing even be found? Plus live Discogs market data and where else to look for a copy. Paid vs worth, clearer. Prices in blue, gains and losses in green and red. Duplicates moved into your collection, one tap from the filter — and they now tell you which copies are the same pressing and which are different editions. Your wishlist stops showing records you already own. Hunts show every album you added by hand. Some were being counted but never drawn. Plus swipe gestures, a redesigned Collection value, Shelves and Missing albums, and hundreds of smaller fixes.

Fixes the crash when saving a scanned record. - Scanning a barcode and saving no longer closes the app. This also affected adding a record from your feed with "I have it", adding a second copy of something you already own, and grading records in bulk — all fixed, they shared the same cause. - Your feed now remembers what you've already seen for two weeks instead of resetting every day, so you get fresh recommendations rather than the same albums coming back around.

Fixes for the things you told us about. - Fixed a crash when saving a record you'd just added from the feed. If it hit you, the record was saved — the app just didn't survive telling you so. - Saving no longer insists on a condition and a value. If they're missing we say what that means for your collection total, and then save exactly what you typed. - "How do I know what condition my record is in?" — the full grading scale is now one tap from where you choose it. Mint means still sealed; opened and flawless is Near Mint. - Choosing a different pressing now re-prices the record, so a Japanese first press stops setting the value of your European copy. - Barcode matches put the original pressing first, and explain why one barcode can return ten results. - Signing in offers your saved password instead of asking you to invent a new one. - Spanish throughout: clearer wording, and the app now follows the language you choose rather than the one your phone assumes. Under the hood, this build can finally report its own crashes to us. The one above took four days to find because we were reading tea leaves; the next one won't. Thank you for every report — keep them coming.

Signing up is easier, and there's a lot more to find. - Paste your verification code. Copy it from our email and paste it straight in — and on iPhone, your keyboard will usually just offer it to you. - Much better record search. Search now covers our full catalogue, so you'll find every version of an album and see how many pressings exist. Search an album title and the artist turns up too, instead of nothing. - Smarter AI cover scan. It checks more sources, shows how confident it is about each match, and tells you what it read off the sleeve. If it gets a letter wrong, fix the artist or album and search again — free, without spending another scan. - A feed from day one. New collectors now open Spindl to real records worth discovering, chosen from the genres you picked, and the feed becomes yours as you add your own. - Record shops. Hundreds more shops on the map. If we don't have your city yet, you can add the first one. - Fixed the keyboard covering the Save button when writing a store review, grading a record, or adding to a shelf. Thanks for every bug report — several of these came straight from you.

Cover scanning is faster and more accurate. - Choose vinyl, CD or cassette before you scan - Pick the exact format when editing, including box sets - Cleaner Add screen - Album stories and collection gaps in your feed - Tracklist, Spin the Crate and connection fixes
