WHY DOWNLOAD MIDICAM?
MidiCam is built for pianists who want a simple way to film digital piano performances, practice sessions or social media content. Connect a MIDI-enabled digital piano or keyboard (using either a physical cable or Bluetooth) then simply begin recording. After you're done, MidiCam will synchronize the video and MIDI timing for you and create a finished video.
RECORD NEW TAKES WITHOUT STANDING UP
Set a designated key on your piano to start, stop or delete recordings, meaning you don't have to leave your seat to start a new take. We've tried to make things as easy as possible for you!
A RICH ACOUSTIC PIANO SOUND
MidiCam contains a custom audio engine, built from recordings of a real grand piano, to give your videos a realistic and high-quality acoustic sound. Choose between two variants: Concert, which is sharp and clear, and Mellow, which is softer and warmer.
REMASTER NOTE VOLUMES
Did one note come out too quiet or too loud? No problem. You can adjust the volume of individual notes right within the app, without re-recording, so your take sounds just as you intended.
BUILT-IN FILE COMPRESSION
Get your recordings ready for Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and more. Pick a preset size and MidiCam creates a compressed copy while keeping your original safe.
EXPORT YOUR FILES
Easily share your recordings as they are, or, if you'd like more control over the audio, export the raw MIDI file for further fine-tuning in external music software. You can then re-import the finished audio back into MidiCam for video synchronization (or just create your own finished video within the music software itself).
ALL YOUR RECORDINGS BELONG TO...YOU
MidiCam does not send your recordings to any sort of server, they stay purely on your own device unless you choose to share them with the outside world.

The free version lets you record videos up to 15 seconds long. Want to record for longer? A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited recording length. No subscription, no recurring fees. We're a tiny independent app studio so your purchase truly makes a difference (we promise we won't spend all of it on copious amounts of coffee...).
