Zawal is a private, offline prayer companion: accurate prayer times, a true Qibla, the adhan at each prayer, and an honest record of your salah. No ads, no tracking, no account. EVERY DAY • The five prayer times, calculated on your iPhone • Twelve calculation methods: Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura, Dubai, Karachi, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Türkiye, Tehran and the Moonsighting Committee, or your own angles. Each one shows the angles it uses • Standard or Hanafi Asr, high-latitude rules, and manual offsets toward your local timetable • A Qibla compass pointing to the Kaaba • The adhan at prayer time from a recorded voice, a short tone, or the system sound. Notifications play the opening of the adhan; the full recording plays in the app. Alerts follow your silent switch and Focus settings • Hijri date with a one-day adjustment, because moon sighting differs by country • A Ramadan countdown with imsak and iftar times, shown as expected dates • Next-prayer widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen • A quiet Quran close after each prayer: Ayat al-Kursi and the three Quls YOUR PRAYER RECORD Mark each prayer as you pray it: in its time, after its time, missed, or not required. Isha after midnight belongs to the evening it follows. Today and the last seven days are always yours to see. Nothing is assumed and nothing is counted against you: there are no streaks. ZAWAL PRO • Your full history, month by month, with simple statistics, and editing of any earlier day • A qada ledger for prayers you want to make up, with a plan at your own pace • Two more adhan voices (one recorded for Fajr), a sound for each prayer, and a tone before the adhan • Travel places with their own prayer times • A Ramadan fasting log, the tracker widget, and an export of your record Zawal Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan can start with a free trial for new subscribers), or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices for your country are shown in the app before you buy. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE Zawal itself makes no network connections. Your location stays on your phone, and you can choose a city by hand instead. The App Privacy section reads "Data Not Collected." Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. ON ACCURACY Calculation methods differ, and trusted timetables can vary by a few minutes. Zawal shows the parameters behind every time and lets you calibrate, rather than claiming one correct time. Quran text comes verbatim from the Tanzil project with the public-domain Pickthall translation. The adhan recordings come from Sunni mosques and are credited in the app; a Shia recording is not included yet. Zawal is independent and is not affiliated with any calculation authority, mosque or project named here. These names are used only to identify sources, and any trademarks belong to their owners. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
