New: your 2FA codes get their own screen. All your accounts at a glance, with the service's logo and the countdown. Bring them over in one go from Google Authenticator or 2FAS — by QR, screenshot or backup file. And tick “On Apple Watch”: the code shows on your wrist, computed by the watch itself, offline, even with your iPhone far away.

New: the crypto wallet — cold. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and EVM networks (Polygon, Base, Arbitrum…) inside your vault. Receive by QR, review every transaction in the clear, sign offline after Face ID. The key never touches the internet — check your balance via watch-only export. And your credential cards now compute their 2FA codes: paste the secret or the otpauth:// URI from the activation QR — the six-digit code lives in the card, offline, encrypted behind Face ID. And the Sesam keyboard now speaks all eleven languages of the app.

The vault grows. • Credential cards: service, login, password, one-time code and backup codes. The password copies without ever being shown. • Your documents open inside the app. An image no longer has to leave it in the clear just to be looked at. • Grid, sorting, pins and notes. Multi-select to tidy up fast. • A second vault, with its own code. The two share nothing. • Automatic wipe after a long absence, if you turn it on. • “Save to Sesam” from any app. Contacts too. • A group now shows who is in it — a note you keep yourself, and the app says so plainly. And its key can finally be regenerated: that is the only way to shut someone out. • A quiet reminder when a key turns a year old. • Your contacts move to a second device: one encrypted file, one passphrase, and your Mac picks up your conversations. • A printable sheet, to hand your key to someone who doesn't have the app yet. Two security fixes, found while building the transfer. • Restoring a backup onto a second device could make your messages unreadable on your contact's side, with no way to tell why. The app now asks whether the old device is still in use, and acts accordingly. • The backup file held up less well than it should against a dictionary attack. Each backup is now protected on its own. Older ones remain readable.

Sesam now speaks eleven languages: Chinese, Japanese and Korean join the previous eight. The whole interface is translated, including the warnings that matter. And the App Store finally shows the full list — it used to declare only one.

STORE YOUR RECOVERY PHRASES Sesam now keeps the 12 or 24 words of your crypto wallets, along with the passphrase, derivation path and private keys. Nothing is derived, no blockchain is queried, nothing is sent: your paper stays the backup, this is its protected copy. Two things a sheet of paper can't do. The BIP-39 checksum is verified as you type: Sesam names the word that doesn't exist and catches two swapped words — the mistake you normally discover the day you need to restore, years too late. And a three-word quiz tells you whether the paper filed away in a drawer is the right one. SCAN A DOCUMENT WITHOUT GOING THROUGH YOUR PHOTOS The camera opens inside Sesam, detects the edges and straightens the page. The document is encrypted without ever touching your photo library — so it never reaches iCloud backup. Until now, storing an ID left the original in the clear in your camera roll.

Contact verification, rebuilt. Every contact now shows a 60-digit safety number derived from your shared key. Compare it: by QR when you're together, out loud on a call when you're not. A single differing digit means someone stepped in during the exchange. It replaces the 4-character fingerprint of earlier versions, which was too short to prove anything — it could be reproduced in under two seconds. The decoy vault, the one your duress code opens, now holds ordinary-looking conversations. An empty vault gave away its own lie.
