Match a wick to your wax, vessel, and fragrance load — then log burn tests hour by hour until the melt pool is right. Wasted wax is expensive; a wick is not. Wick selection is the step that fails most often in candle making — tunnelling, soot, a flame that's far too tall. WickFinder makes it systematic. A WICK MATCHED TO YOUR CANDLE Set your vessel diameter, wax base, and fragrance load. WickFinder gives you a recommended series and size, corrected for how each wax actually burns — paraffin carries more heat than soy; coconut and beeswax pull the other way. ALWAYS A RANGE, NEVER ONE ANSWER You also get the size up and the size down, because fragrance oil, dye, and vessel shape all shift the result. One confident answer would be wrong most of the time; a sensible first test round is not. THE SERIES YOU STOCK ECO, CD, LX, and Hemp, each with the rated melt-pool diameter for every size in the range. BURN TESTS, HOUR BY HOUR Log melt-pool diameter, flame height, soot, and mushrooming each hour with fast one-tap entries. The melt pool charts as you go, so you can see whether a wick reached the edge — or tunnelled and never recovered. DIAGNOSE WHAT WENT WRONG Pick the symptom — tunnelling, heavy soot, a flame that's too big, a wick that keeps drowning — and get the likely cause and the next wick to try. COMPARE TESTS Put two burn tests side by side and see which wick actually held a full pool. WORKS OFFLINE Wick data, recommendations, and logs are all on-device. FREE · Wick recommendation · One saved burn test · On-device wick data WICKFINDER PRO · Every wick series and size · Unlimited burn tests with photos · Hourly melt-pool tracking · Side-by-side test comparison · Export test sheets to PDF Pro is $24.99/year with a 7-day free trial. SAFETY Burn testing involves an open flame. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it clear of anything flammable, and follow candle-safety and labelling rules where you sell. Recommendations are starting points — always burn-test before selling. EULA: https://wickfinder-maker-suite.web.app/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://wickfinder-maker-suite.web.app/privacy.html
